  1. goal

GOAL Livingston 0-1 Hibernianpublished at 16:10 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

    Daryl Horgan

It had been coming. Daryl Horgan has looked a brilliant signing since joining on loan from Preston North End and he's been a handful this afternoon once more.

The ball comes into the box and Livingston fail to deal with it. It falls to Jamie Maclaren who dummies a shot and turns, then leaves it for Horgan to tuck it into the far corner from 7 yards.

  2. Hearts fans pay tribute to stricken Leveinpublished at 16:10 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

Heart of Midlothian 4-1 St Mirren

Hearts fans stand and applaud their manager, Craig Levein, who is "on the mend" after being taken to hospital this week.

Levein is 53, so the ovation is staged in the 53rd minute.

If he's watching from home, the Hearts boss will be pretty chuffed with what he's seen so far.

  3. goal

GOAL Dunfermline Athletic 0-1 Inverness CTpublished at 16:10 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

    Shaun Rooney

Dunfermline have been the dominant side, but Shaun Rooney puts Caley Thistle ahead.

  4. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 16:06 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

    Dundee 0-0 Motherwell

Just seconds on the clock at Dens Park and Dundee have the ball in the net. It looks like Adil Nabi got the final touch, but it's ruled out.

  5. CLOSE!published at 16:06 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

    Livingston 0-0 Hibernian

Great chance for Livingston as Scott Pittman finds space in the box for a shot, but he hits it straight at goalkeeper Adam Bogdan.

A great start to the second half for the home side though.

  6. goal

GOAL Partick Thistle 1-0 Greenock Mortonpublished at 16:06 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

    Chris Erskine

It looks like both Championship leaders are heading for defeat.

Chris Erskine puts Thistle ahead, which will add to Morton's misery after manager Ray McKinnon walked out on them yesterday to take over at Falkirk.

  7. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:04 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

Heart of Midlothian 4-1 St Mirren

The Buddies start the second half strongly, captain Stephen McGinn unleashing a 25-yard effort that goalkeeper Zdenek Zlamal beats away.

    John Barnes
    BBC Scotland at Hope Stadium

St Johnstone started the better of the two with regards possession and Matty Kennedy is looking lively on the left wing. Steven Boyd has been the most creative player so far for Accies with a couple of efforts that flew off target.

But Blair Alston’s strike and David McMillan’s headed goal have given the visitors a half-time lead and Accies fans were quick to boo their players off at the interval.

  15. Frustration for dominant Hibernianpublished at 15:50 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

    HT: Livingston 0-0 Hibernian

    Alasdair Lamont
    BBC Sport Scotland

Hibs are playing a lot of nice build-up football, but the final ball has been lacking. Daryl Horgan, playing in the pocket behind the strikers, is causing problems for Livingston, but Gary Holt’s team have largely been able to keep Hibs at bay while occasionally posing a threat themselves on the counter-attack.

Nonetheless the visitors should have scored in injury time, but Lewis Allan missed Martin Boyle’s cutback and Lewis Stevenson eventually fired over the bar.

  16. HALF-TIME Livingston 0-0 Hibernianpublished at 15:49 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

Lewis Stevenson missed the best chance of the game on the stroke of half-time. His left-foot strike went agonizingly over the crossbar after a cross from Martin Boyle.

Hibs have had the better of the chances but have failed to really cut Livi open. Debutant Lewis Allan did come close to a first goal for the club. His swivelling volley though was comfotably saved by Livi goalkeeper Liam Kelly.

Livingston are employing their much talked about direct style with Craig Halkett causing problems in the Hibs' box and he came closest for the hosts with a header that drifted just wide.

Ultimately, though, both managers will hope for some more quality in the second half.

  17. HALF-TIME Dundee 0-0 Motherwellpublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

To say it has been one-way traffic at Dens Park perhaps isn't far from the truth. Motherwell have been well on top in this game so far, with faint appeals for a penalty on Kenny Miller after a slight nudge from Richard Tait the only real cause for excitement for the home support. Miller didn't even appeal.

Neil McCann was forced into a change just before half-time as Josh Meekings went off for Dundee. Debutant Ryan Inniss replaced him.

The Dundee manager will need to get his side to up their game if they are to get the three points here.

  18. HALF-TIME Aberdeen 0-1 Kilmarnockpublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

Michael Devlin's red card after just five minutes gave Kilmarnock the impetus, but it has taken them until just before the break to take the lead - Eamonn Brophy scoring from a direct free-kick.

Aberdeen have had chances, with Niall McGinn himself going close from a free-kick.

  19. HALF-TIME Hamilton Academical 0-2 St Johnstonepublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

St Johnstone good value for their lead at the break. The visitors had the better attacking possession in the first half and showed perseverance to get their opening goal as Hamilton failed to heed the warnings.

  20. goal

GOAL Hamilton 0-2 St Johnstonepublished at 15:47 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

    David McMillan

David McMillan came close to scoring in the run-up to St Johnstone's opener and now the forward is able to add his name to the scoresheet.

It's a pretty straightforward goal with Richard Foster hanging a high cross up to the back post and McMillan heading downwards past Gary Woods. Far too easy as far as Hamilton are concerned.
