The sprinkler going off is the only real highlight in the last 15-20 minutes

  2. Tony Macaroni has the sprinklers onpublished at 15:46 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

    Livingston 0-0 Hibernian

Maybe the water system is trying to encourage the players to keep the ball on the deck in this one. The sprinklers stop play for a brief moment, soaking both benches.

  3. HALF-TIME Heart of Midlothian 4-1 St Mirrenpublished at 15:46 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

Steven Naismith has bagged a first-half hat-trick as Premiership leaders Hearts look set to continue their winning start to the season.

Naismith's first came from the penalty spot, the second from a ricocheted corner and the third, via the post, after being set free by Peter Haring.

In amongst that, Naismith also provided a lovely assist for Olly Lee. The only blot on Hearts' copybook was a clumsy own-goal by Jimmy Dunne, but it doesn't look like it will matter.

St Mirren have been dreadful. They can't keep the ball and their defence is non-existent. This could be a very, very long afternoon for Alan Stubbs' men.

  4. goal

GOAL Aberdeen 0-1 Kilmarnockpublished at 15:44 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

    Eamonn Brophy

Eamonn Brophy gives Kilmarnock the lead from a free-kick a long way out. Aberdeen goalkeeper Joe Lewis could perhaps do a little better - he gets nowhere near it.

  5. goal

GOAL Heart of Midlothian 4-1 St Mirrenpublished at 15:44 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

    Steven Naismith

It's a hat-trick for Steven Naismith! More utterly dreadful defending from St Mirren, who allow Peter Haring to canter forth unchallenged and slide in Naismith.

His shot bobbles and creeps its way towards the far post, finding the net via the woodwork.

    Hearts utterly rampant.

  6. 'Desperate defending' from St Mirrenpublished at 15:43 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

Heart of Midlothian 3-1 St Mirren

    Peter Houston
Former Scotland assistant manager on BBC Sportsound

It's desperate defending from St Mirren. A corner coming in, Ikpeazu easily winning the header, it bounces off Kpekawa and a great header from Naismith. He's in a great place.

Hearts look a lot more mobile and a much bigger threat this season.

  7. Ambrose into the standpublished at 15:43 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

    Livingston 0-0 Hibernian

Efe Ambrose attemps a couple of step-overs and jinks in from the right-hand side.

Just when you think the unpredictable Hibs defender is about to find the net, he balloons his shot over the bar.

  8. Postpublished at 15:41 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

    Hamilton Academical 0-1 St Johnstone

St Johnstone playing with confidence now and David McMillan's hooked shot is held by goalkeeper Gary Woods.

  9. goal

GOAL Heart of Midlothian 3-1 St Mirrenpublished at 15:41 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

    Steven Naismith

It's all Hearts here. Michael Smith breaks down the right and side-foots the ball for Steven MacLean. His goal-bound effort is cleared off the line for a corner.

And from the resultant set-piece, Uche Ikpeazu's header is diverted into the path of Steven Naismith by a St Mirren defender. The Hearts man just has to knock it into the net from a yard or so out - his second of the afternoon.

  10. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:40 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

Heart of Midlothian 2-1 St Mirren

What a goal that would have been! Demetri Mitchell with an overhead kick at the back post, the ball striking the crossbar and bouncing clear.

The returning loanee is having a stormer.

  11. goal

GOAL Queen of the South 4-0 Ayr Unitedpublished at 15:38 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

    Gary Harkins

It's another goal for Queens, who are blowing away Championship leaders Ayr.

This time it's not Stephen Dobbie.

The veteran striker missed a chance to score his fourth of the day when he had a penalty kick saved, but Gary Harkins has chipped in with a fine curling drive.

  12. goal

GOAL Hamilton Academical 0-1 St Johnstonepublished at 15:37 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

    Blair Alston

It's a scrappy one, but they all count.

Hamilton fail to clear their lines several times following a St Johnstone free-kick and eventually goalkeeper Gary Woods denies David McMillan only for Blair Alston to bundle in the rebound.

  13. Halkett header goes closepublished at 15:36 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

    Livingston 0-0 Hibernian

Centre-back Craig Halkett has been Livi's biggest threat so far. He meets another cross into the Hibs' box, but his header drifts just wide.

  14. Lee finishes fine team goalpublished at 15:35 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

Heart of Midlothian 2-1 St Mirren

A fine finish from Olly Lee, whose delayed run and composed left-foot volley has Hearts back in the lead.

  15. CLOSE!published at 15:33 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

    Livingston 0-0 Hibernian

Hibs boss Neil Lennon rubs his head in frustration as his side spurn the game's best chance.

A Martin Boyle cross is blocked and spins high into the air. It falls for Lewis Allan, who tries a volley with his back to goal. But it's a comfortable save for Liam Kelly in the Livingston goal.

  16. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:33 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

    Aberdeen 0-0 Kilmarnock

Niall McGinn's free-kick bends over the wall and is heading for the top corner, but Kilmarnock goalkeeper Jamie MacDonald does brilliantly to tip it wide.

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:32 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

    Aberdeen 0-0 Kilmarnock

Two great saves from Aberdeen goalkeeper Joe Lewis. Chris Burke is clean through, but Lewis gets his hand down low to block the first effort then, as Burke turns and tries again on the rebound, Lewis puts a foot out to deny him again.

Aberdeen have settled down after Kilmarnock's initial flurry of chances following Devlin's red card and have actually dominated possession. Killie look content to be patient here with the extra man.

  18. Hibs on top but nothing to show for itpublished at 15:31 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

    Livingston 0-0 Hibernian

    Alasdair Lamont
    BBC Sport Scotland

Hibs the better team in the opening exchanges, but they’ve yet to create an outstanding opportunity against a doughty Livingston defence. Lewis Allan has started the game well having been preferred up front to Oli Shaw, but like last week against Aberdeen, Hibs haven’t been able to capitalise on their dominance.

  20. goal

GOAL Heart of Midlothian 2-1 St Mirrenpublished at 15:30 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

    Olly Lee

Excellent team goal from Hearts. Uche Ikpeazu flicks on a long ball, Steven Naismith lobs it over the St Mirren defence with his head and the onrushing Olly Lee lashes it home.
