    Celtic v Rosenborg (20:00)

Rosenborg could be a different proposition to the side that went down meekly 3-1 despite taking the lead in Champions League qualifying at Celtic Park.

Rini Coolen's Norwegian champions are unbeaten in 10 games since drawing the second leg in Trondheim and dropping into the Europa League.

They have won seven games in a row and have overtaken Brann at the top of the Eliteserien.

Celtic are themselves unbeaten in six outings since losing to AEK Athens in their Champions League play-off.

However, Brendan Rodgers' side are without a home win in 10 European group-stage fixtures and were held to a draw by promoted St Mirren in the Scottish Premiership on Friday.

    Celtic v Rosenborg (20:00)

It's a fifth meeting between these two in five seasons, which means Celtic have taken on Rosenborg of Norway more times than some bottom six sides in the Premiership in that time.

It’s a fabulous result, particularly having not played that well, but having moments and almost winning it towards the end. There are positive aspects there but I’m sure Gerrard will be looking at the defensive sight and knowing that game could’ve been outwith their reach early in the second half.

  7. Reward for Rangerspublished at 19:55 British Summer Time 20 September 2018

    FT: Villarreal 2-2 Rangers

Rangers were second best for long spells at El Madrigal but the visitors dug in and improved as the game was stretched in the later stages.

Glenn Middleton made a big impact, Kyle Lafferty tucked away a great team goal and Allan McGregor made a vital save at a vital time.

Carlos Bacca rises at the back post to meet a cross from right and Rangers' hearts are in their mouths... But the Colombia striker can only head wide from a few yards. The small band of travelling fans are going through an emotional wringer here.

    Quote Message

That's top-drawer from Dorrans. Rangers have been missing him - a player who can unlock the door from the number 10 position. He drives forward, skins one defender and plays in Arfield. The challenge coming in really puts Arfield off just as it looks like he's going to finish.

  14. Postpublished at 89 mins

    Villarreal 2-2 Rangers

Scott Arfield to win it for Rangers? No! It's a good save from Andres Fernandez, who gets down to smother the midfielder's shot on the stretch following a tremendous reverse pass from Graham Dorrans.

    Villarreal 2-2 Rangers

    Willie Miller

    Quote Message

Villarreal are running out of ideas. It's because of the shape of Rangers - they're more compact now and there's no space for Villarreal to play through them. Kyle Lafferty's away back defending as well. They just want to see the game out.

  16. Postpublished at 88 mins

    Villarreal 2-2 Rangers

With Borna Barisic off, Andy Halliday is filling in at left-back. Villarreal are looking a bit ragged now as they rush things.

  17. Lafferty levels for Rangerspublished at 19:39 British Summer Time 20 September 2018

    Villarreal 2-2 Rangers

Here's a look at that neat finish from Kyle Lafferty, which looks like earning Rangers a share of the spoils in Spain.

Still a bit to go though and Steven Gerrard's men will need to remain focused.

    Villarreal 2-2 Rangers

Is Borna Barisic suffering from cramp? The Rangers full-back, who did so well to set up the second goal for the visitors, is struggling.

The Croat can't go on and there will be a first appearance since May for Graham Dorrans.

  19. 'Rangers just need to hold on - a draw would be fabulous'published at 19:35 British Summer Time 20 September 2018

    Villarreal 2-2 Rangers

    Willie Miller
Former Scotland defender on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

Villarreal obviously looked at this game as one they'd win comfortably. On the balance of chances they could have done just that. Rangers have shown a great attitude, particularly from their full-backs. They deserve to be where they are and they need to hold on - a draw would be a fabulous result.

  20. Denic & De Lanlay start for Rosenborgpublished at 19:34 British Summer Time 20 September 2018
