If you stick Eriksen in the middle of the park today he would have destroyed this game for Cardiff. He's exactly who Spurs have missed, that killer final pass against a team that have defended so solidly.

    Watford 0-4 Bournemouth

Not much to say about the game at Watford. Bournemouth have had this game done and dusted since before half-time. The stands are emptying fast as the home side battle through a few more minutes of torment.

That thud you hear is them coming back down to earth.

    Leicester 1-2 Everton

    Martin Keown

It might be a candidate for goal of the season. The space opens up for him after a Cruyff turn and it is an unbelievable looping strike.

  13. 'Spurs could blow this'published at 16:39 British Summer Time 6 October 2018

    Tottenham 1-0 Cardiff

    Pat Nevin
Former Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 live

Cardiff are still in this, the final ball's not been great as they've been pinned back in their own half since going down to 10 men.

There's still a possibility Spurs could blow this and drop points, especially if Cardiff can get a set piece.

Almost the second goal which would probably secure the points for Wolves - a ball forwards is deflected and sub Ivan Cavaleiro swivels and fires a shot against the top of the crossbar and away!

  17. A goal for Kane?published at 16:35 British Summer Time 6 October 2018

    Tottenham 1-0 Cardiff

    Pat Nevin
Former Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 live

Harry Kane's been playing in that 10 role but since Lamela's arrival has moved up to the striker position. Moura and Lamela have gone out wide, maybe Harry can get his goal now.

GOAL - Leicester 1-2 Evertonpublished at 16:35 British Summer Time 6 October 2018

    Gylfi Sigurdsson

What a goal! What an absolute beauty of a goal!

Gylfi Cruyff turns James Maddison into next week before teeing himself for a 25-yard shot that curls away from Schmeichel into the far top corner.

    You do not save them.

Four goals in four games for the Iceland international. Everton a goal and a man up and in control of this game.

They're still in this Cardiff, they aren't giving up and it's still only 1-0.

Pochettino has made the right decision here though, bringing on Lamela who was excellent against Barcelona in the week, he'll add something to this Spurs side.
