We're into the final minute of the half now. This has been underwhelming really.

    Lee Dixon

The Tottenham goalkeeper hasn't had much to do after the goal. That should be the team talk. They have played well and created chances, and they have bounced back after conceding so early.

    Atletico Madrid 1-0 Borussia Dortmund

Good news for Atletico, terrible news for Monaco!

The La Liga giants go 1-0 ahead against Borussia Dortmund thanks to Saul Niguez, meaning Thierry Henry's side will be eliminated tonight if the score stays the same.

    Spurs 0-1 PSV

A low cross by Christian Eriksen and Jeroen Zoet obviously has some kind of football magnets in his gloves as the ball flies straight into his hands rather than Harry Kane's boot.

Son Heung-min goes down in the area, the home fans appeal - the players not so much - and nothing is given.

    Inter 0-0 Barcelona

Inter manager Luciano Spalletti is as animated as ever on the San Siro touchline. That's not a good thing tonight.

He's desperate for his team to move the ball quicker when they go forward, too often they have been ponderous and it has allowed Barcelona to win the ball back.

Barca go forward again... Philippe Coutinho drills a low one off the skiddy surface but Inter keeper Samir Handanovic does well to make it stick.

  13. YELLOW CARDpublished at 39 mins

    Spurs 0-1 PSV

First yellow card of the game and it's the first thing I can remember Hirving Lozano doing. He fouls Harry Winks, who had done well to win possession from another player.

    Spurs 0-1 PSV

PSV goalkeeper Jeroen Zoet is having the game of his life. Probably. I haven't seen most of his others to be fair.

Dele Alli is in on goal and takes a low shot which Zoet sticks his arm down to meet.

    Spurs 0-1 PSV

Spurs have a corner but do nothing with it. As things stand, they'd need to beat Barcelona in the Nou Camp and Inter Milan and hope for other things to happen to go through.

    Inter 0-0 Barcelona

It's raining in Milan. Not raining goals, just water.

Barca are looking more likely to open the scoring, coming close when Ousmane Dembele's shot is blocked by Luis Suarez (yes, his own player) before Sergi Roberto's scuffed sliding shot hits the side-netting.

In fact, it's not raining goals anywhere in Europe. Just those early goals for Porto and Schalke in the five other 20:00 GMT kick-offs.

Three-letter teams starting with PS have got a 100% success rate in the league this season.

PSV have won 11/11 in the Eredivisie, with PSG 12/12 in Ligue 1.

PSG actually took the record off Spurs (1960-61) for the best winning start to a league in one of Europe's top five leagues.

Spurs are desperately trying to build momentum after that early shock but are currently being frustrated by PSV - with the one-time arch-enforcer Mark van Bommel cutting an ominous figure clad in a black overcoat on the sidelines... the man who knew all the tricks.

Mauricio Pochettino's side are getting closer but PSV keeper Jeroen Zoet has been a defiant figure so far.
