This is clearly something City have thought about. They're quite a small team. Aerially, they're not fantastic. They're trying to do things a bit differently from set-pieces.
Atletico Madrid 0-0 Juventus
The referee has had a mare there. Never a booking.
Anyway, here comes Cristiano Ronaldo....
Wooof! He got hold of that! Pure power, nearly breaks Jan Oblak's wrist as he turns it over.
Atletico Madrid 0-0 Juventus
Diego Costa has been booked for not retreating in the wall! He will miss the second leg now for the most petty of bookings!
Atletico Madrid 0-0 Juventus
Cristiano Ronaldo is lining up a free-kick from about 50 yards...
Schalke 0-0 Manchester City
Fine free-kick from Manchester City, think England v Panama as they play it short, David Silva spins away down the left and is free to whip in a cross which Sergio Aguero heads on goal. Ralf Fahrmann tips it over!
An absolute sky blue tide of pressure...

I think this is dangerous from Schalke. They're sitting very deep, they're all within 30 yards of their goal - except for the striker.
They're allowing City to dominate and they've got so much quality it's very difficult to stay focused for 90 minutes without making a mistake.
Schalke 0-0 Manchester City
Raheem Sterling into the area, slide-rule pass cut out by a defender. Schalke playing a back five, extending to a back nine at times.
They can't play like this for 180 minutes!
Schalke 0-0 Manchester City
Schalke are sitting very, very deep and City have nearly got in behind twice already. Schalke keeper Ralf Fahrmann slides out feet first to tackle Sergio Aguero who nearly had an early chance.
Atletico Madrid 0-0 Juventus
It takes about 40 seconds to have a flashpoint! Antoine Griezmann has a shot which Blaise Matuidi tries to block, he catches the Frenchman on his toe and Atleti want a penalty!
No joy but that wa sa good shout.
Atletico Madrid 0-0 Juventus
And away we go in Madrid, a touch late. Uefa won't like that.
Schalke 0-0 Manchester City
Fernandinho is starting in a back four, but coming out into midfield at will. Aymeric Laporte pretty much a standard left-back.
Schalke 0-0 Manchester City
Sergio Aguero, Nicolas Otamendi and Fernandinho are all a booking away from a ban tonight by the way. Could see a late yellow or two if City are well ahead...
Away we go!
Schalke v Manchester City (20:00 GMT)
European football writer Archie Rhind-Tutt has just told BBC Radio 5 live that Leroy Sane should expect a warm welcome from Schalke fans because he didn't leave the club for one of their rivals. He's only on the bench tonight.
Manuel Neuer on the other hand...
Whenever the Bayern Munich keeper returns to his old club he gets showered with bananas...
Schalke v Manchester City (20:00 GMT)
Superb atmosphere at Schalke too. The tunnel is made out of faux coal, a nod to the area's coal-mining history...
Here come the sides - spectacular light show at Atletico! The home of this year's Champions League final of course...

Very interesting. They are currently showing a film about how VAR will work tonight on the big screens inside the stadium. I’m not too sure how many fans are watching it and those who are watching it may be struggling to understand how it will be implemented. We will find out soon...

Manchester City
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola on BT Sport: "Germany has physical football and has talented players. If you let them run and make mistakes on the ball, it will be difficult to control them. This is the Champions League so any side you face are full of strength and we have to impose ourselves.
"We see the quality in the opponent, especially when we are not used to playing against them."
Asked if City start to think about winning trophies now...
"To ask this now is silly. We will accept this kind of question in May, it is still in February. We have still a lot of games to play. When you start to think about the big trophies, you can lose everything in one week. We are in a good position but if we lose three in-a-row, we are out. We do not even dream for one second about winning the Champions League, we are only thinking about today."

For City to win three or four trophies would be miraculous. To do that they would need a massive slice of luck at some point because anything can happen in just the one game and it destroys it for you.
If they could pick one, it'd be the Champions League. The fans, I don't know, maybe they're a bit split. There doesn't seem a great deal of admiration for this competition. If they win it, that might change.

Matt Kowech: Atletico Madrid vs Juventus is a classic football game. Two sides that define "Catennacio". Any lover of the game can't afford to miss this
Bradley Bicknell: That Atleti and Juve game could be a cracker but I have a genuine feeling that the home side will win as it’s at the place which is hosting the Champions League final. Who knows?!
Mike Sizzy: City should be able to go through on this first leg Schalke 04 are battling relegation
