Massive opportunity for Marcus Rashford. Those are the opportunities you are going to have to take tonight. He seemed to toe-poke it and Marc-Andre Ter Stegen was beaten but you have to score.

Wow, that was something. And here come United again, they play Scott McTominay in on goal again and he just can't gather the ball in!

United could be 2-0 up already! Amazing start.

Victor Lindelof is at right-back, by the way.

babyboomer: Ashley Young & Lingard on the same pitch as Messi. Unbelievable. Whatever next?

Mr. E: After last weeks dross there will be goals tonight. Come on MAN U

Noel: If Pogba is as lackadaisical as he was last Saturday, United will get destroyed. McTominay is in to do a lot of the dirty work but if Pogba has any intention of shining, this game has to be it. Still go for an easy home win though

Man Utd need to accept Barcelona are going to have large spells of possession and they shouldn't lose heart in that. They will get their moments and it's about being clinical with those opportunities. They cannot lose confidence.

However, two of those instances have been in this season’s competition, including once by Manchester United.

Barcelona v Man Utd (20:00 BST)

    Darren Fletcher

Ashley Young is a leader and he is a big character. I have been in the dressing room with him and he would be my first choice to wear the armband tonight.

He is probably more suited to be a left-back because he was at his best as a left-winger, but he has never moaned out of position on the right.

Bradley: Barca are certain to go through. Only reason Man Utd got to the quarters is because PSG always bottle it.

Kyle: It would be some sequence if United win tonight. Losing home games to Barcelona, Juventus and PSG but beating all 3 away from home.

Emyr: I'm sorry but if Ole is playing Jones at right back we will lose by at least 3 tonight... Messi vs Jones is going to get, well... Messi

Barcelona v Man Utd (Agg: 1-0, 20:00 BST)

    Manchester United

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on BT Sport: "We can't wait to get started, it's going to be a great achievement if we get through. We are going to have to ride our luck and work harder than ever. We need more quality than we had last time.

"We will play with no fear, do what we are good at. If this is going to be an open game with many goals we stand a better chance than if it's cagey. We can score many goals. We are confident but humble enough to know it's our hardest night of the season.

"We've got to go for it, we can't sit back and wait for them to make mistakes - they don't make many. We will go at them.

"We played five at the back last time, it was a bit cautious but we tried to stop Messi."
