Suarez, who left Liverpool in 2014 after three-and-a-half seasons, scored and then celebrated in Barcelona's 3-0 first-leg win at the Nou Camp.
The Uruguayan apologised for celebrating last week and says he "respects" Liverpool fans.
"I think people know the work I did here," said Suarez.
"I think there will be more applause than whistles. There may be quite a few who are not happy but I think there will be more who are happy and grateful."

Liverpool have a chance tonight, of course they do. Is it possible? Yes. Is it likely? No. If Barcelona score then it's game over. Liverpool need to focus on scoring and keeping the defence tight. The issue is how much will Liverpool struggle to score without Salah, Firmino or Keita?

The Reds are without injured forwards Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino, which may mean Brewster starts.
"He's ready. There is a big chance. It's nearly sure. It's guaranteed," said Klopp of Brewster's involvement.
"The situations are always like this. In an ideal world, in a season you always have much more players than you can involve in a squad.
"When you're on the bench, you are an option to play."

Barcelona are a very good side but they are not the great side they once were. In the last five seasons they have lost knockout games on the road to Roma, Paris St-Germain, Juventus, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich.
