We've gone from making up a rumour to the counter argument inside half an hour. Lovely stuff.

In response to Tom's suggestion of buying Callum Wilson in January, we have already been here before when we lost faith in Torres and decided to buy Demba Ba. He will not score a bundle of goals as you suggest as he will find it difficult to change his style to suit a big club like Chelsea. That said, Morata does need replacing because he's no different to Torres, a financial mistake. If a short term solution is required then look no future than Vardy. Then go big in the summer ...... again.

MOL Vidi 0-0 Chelsea
The crowd comes to life as Vidi mount another decent attack. They've hardly had a touch of the ball but when they do get it they look dangerous. Slick passing again tees up Loic Nego, he spins his man and shoots but it's easy for Willy Caballero. Catching practice.
Rapid Vienna 0-0 Rangers
Smash! Wonderful header from a free-kick by Rangers defender Connor Goldson, but he is unlucky to see it thwack away off the crossbar.
MOL Vidi 0-0 Chelsea
Chelsea have had 78% of possession so far, crazy amount of dominance. Willian works a short corner and puts over a telling cross but it's flicked away from danger.

Mark McBeath: Excuse my pedantry but the dictionary definition of a dead rubber is a result that doesn't affect either side. Vidi need to better BATE's result to go through
Never apologise for your pedantry Mark, especially when you're 100% correct. Quite right.
Sevilla 2-0 FC Krasnador
Elsewhere, Sevilla have raced into a 2-0 lead thanks to an early brace from Wissam Ben Yedder.
The Spanish side are heading through as it stands, as they only need to match Standard Liege's result - the Belgians are currently drawing 0-0 at Akhisarspor.
MOL Vidi 0-0 Chelsea
While we're shooting the breeze about transfer rumours, surely someone is going to come and take Cesc Fabregas away from Chelsea in January?
Admittedly I only see him play in the Europa League these days, which is a bit like watching those videos of Paul Scholes bossing 5-a-side in Oldham, but the man remains a class act. Don't ask him to run, but he can ping 50-yard passes all day.
Rapid Vienna 0-0 Rangers
No goals, no real chances yet in the early phases of play in Austria. Remember, Rangers have to win.
We may have started a rumour...

Sulaimon: As a die hard Arsenal fan. I need to be realistic. I am not expecting any major trophy this season but the Europa League won't be bad due to Unai Emery's expertise. Koscielny's return is a huge boost and it's needed due to injuries
Michael: Morata is so frustrating to watch. Giroud is no better either. I'll take Wilson over them
MOL Vidi 0-0 Chelsea
Boban is a wonderful first name, no clues from Wikipedia as to whether he was named after the former AC Milan playmaker though. Frustrating.
Best first names in sport? Got to be Maverick Vinales, the MotoGP rider named after Tom Cruise's character in Top Gun...
MOL Vidi 0-0 Chelsea
The first shot in anger comes from the home side, neat passing on the edge of the area frees up Boban Nikolov, but his shot is wild and screwed wide.
Named after Zvonimir? You'd certainly hope so.
MOL Vidi 0-0 Chelsea
Willian pops up on the left flank early on for Chelsea. I wonder if the likes of him and Alvaro Morata are happy they're playing tonight or not? The dictionary definition of a dead rubber.
MOL Vidi 0-0 Chelsea
Chelsea, in a stonewash kit, get us up and running in a chilly looking Budapest.
Rapid Vienna 0-0 Rangers
Under way in Vienna!

BBC Sport Scotland in Vienna
The atmosphere in the Allianz Stadion is really ramping up. The Rapid Vienna fans are no shrinking violets and the Rangers support has mobilised in its thousands for this crucial match. Many hundreds, maybe thousands have managed to get tickets in addition to the original away allocation and thousands more will watch from the bars of Vienna.
MOL Vidi v Chelsea (17:55 GMT)
The teams are in the tunnel in Budapest. Golden grand piano. Let's get it on!
Callum Wilson to Chelsea? Lovely bit of baseless transfer tittle tattle to start the festive season Tom!
Let's start the bidding at, shall we say, £40m?
More? Probably more right?
