    That opens the door for the Baggies or the Whites to take advantage tonight.

    Tuesday: Middlesbrough 0-0 Rotherham; Norwich 2-1 Aston Villa

    A recap of Tuesday's Championship action, as leaders Middlesbrough were held to a goalless draw by Rotherham.

    That means either West Brom or Leeds could replace the Teessiders at the top of the table this evening.

    Elsewhere, Norwich moved up to fourth after inflicting a first defeat on new Aston Villa boss Dean Smith.

    Birmingham and Swansea moved to within a point of the play-offs after victories over Reading and Blackburn respectively, while Millwall came from behind to beat Wigan and move out of the bottom three.

    • Bristol City make three changes from the win over Brentford as Tomas Kalas and Jay Dasilva start in defence, with Famara Diedhou up front; Hull City are unchanged from their draw at home to Preston, with midfielder Daniel Batty shaking off a knee injury.
    • Leeds United coach Marcelo Bielsa makes three changes from their defeat at Blackburn with Luke Ayling, Jack Harrison and Pablo Hernandez coming in; Ipswich Town boss Paul Hurst rings the changes - with seven of them after their defeat by QPR. Bartosz Bialkowski gets the nod in goal, with two alterations in defence and Kayden Jackson back up front.
    • There are four changes for Preston from the draw at Hull, with defender Paul Huntington returning and forward Tom Barkhuizen fit; Moses Odubajo comes into the Brentford defence in place of the suspended Chris Mepham in one of three changes for the visitors. Nico Yennaris and Kamo Mokotjo start in midfield.
    • Craig Noone and Josh Vela are among four new faces for Bolton Wanderers following their draw at Rotherham; Michael Dawson and Jack Robinson return for Nottingham Forest, with three of their four changes coming in defence.
    • West Brom make three changes from the defeat by Wigan as Sam Field, Tosin Adarabioyo and Matt Phillips return, while recent signing Bakary Sako is on the bench for the first time; Scott Malone and Tom Lawrence come into the Derby County starting XI, with Craig Forsyth and Craig Bryson dropping out.

    There's nothing quite like an autumn night, wrapped up against the chill, heading down to the ground to watch your team.

    It was always a treat to go to the match, dashing back from school knowing you'd get a late bedtime.

    The sizzle of the burger van grills, the smell of fried onions, the buzz and chatter and sight of the floodlights.

    Those giant pylons, casting brilliant light down on the lush green turf. It was a sensory overload.
