    Leicester 0-0 Cardiff

Junior Hoilett goes for a run down the right wing and keeps going. He gets into the box before Leicester eventually hook it clear.

The hosts attack down the other end immediately afterwards but Demarai Gray's shot is skewed over the bar.

    Whomph!

An absolute peach of a strike from Harry Kane to put the hosts ahead.

There looked little danger as the England captain collected the ball on the right apex of the penalty box.

But he turned inside Willy Boly and thumped a 20-yard rocket into the far corner.

Spurs are three points off leaders Liverpool - as it stands and before the Reds take on Arsenal at teatime.

  3. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:21 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

    Tottenham 0-0 Wolves

    Cat-like from Rui Patricio.

The Wolves keeper flies to his left and gets a paw to Christian Eriksen's curling effort.

That was destined for the top corner.

    Leicester 0-0 Cardiff

Leicester are starting to get a hold of this game now. James Maddison is controlling the midfield and the hosts are getting into spaces on the edge of the box. Still just the one shot on target though.

  5. 'The game needs a goal'published at 15:19 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

    Fulham 0-0 Huddersfield

    Paul Ince
Former England midfielder on Final Score

Both teams look quite nervous. It looks like they’re a bit worried about leaving themselves open at the back.

They’re both evenly matched but the game needs a goal to ignite it.

  6. Postpublished at 15:19 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

    Fulham 0-0 Huddersfield

    Should do better!

It has been all Huddersfield so far at Craven Cottage, but Fulham break forward to create a real opportunity.

Luciano Vietto's cross is perfectly measured, but Cyrus Christie allows the ball to smear across his forehead and wide.

The Terriers with 78% of the ball so far...

  8. CLOSE!published at 15:18 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

    Watford 0-0 Newcastle

Salomon Rondon has the ball in the back of the net for Newcastle but it's ruled out for offside. Looked tight! Think he was on...

Watford immediately go up the other end with Gerard Deulofeu - who is definitely onside - but his shot is saved by Martin Dubravka, low to his left.

  9. Postpublished at 15:16 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

    Brighton 0-0 Everton

    Big chance for Brighton.

Pascal Gross's low-skimming cross is aimed towards Florin Andone, and it takes a full-blooded charge from goal from Jordan Pickford to divert it away from the Romanian.

    Jurgen Locadia has a follow-up half-volley blocked.

Pickford has taken a whack on the ribs but is good to go.

  10. CLOSE!published at 15:16 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

    Leicester 0-0 Cardiff

James Maddison smartly turns from his opponent in midfield, drives through the centre and has a pop from distance. He catches it sweetly but it bounces just wide of Cardiff's left post as Neil Etheridge gets a hand to it.

  11. Postpublished at 15:15 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

    Tottenham 0-0 Wolves

Remember Kieran Trippier's World Cup semi-final set-piece against Croatia? Of course you do. The high point of a heady summer.

Anyway, the Tottenham full-back has a free-kick in a similar spot. This time it is straight down the throat of Rui Patricio.

  12. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:13 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

    Watford 0-0 Newcastle

Another penalty shout at Vicarage Road as Gerard Deulofeu gets on the end of a smart flick into the box and is getting ready to shoot when he gets a tap on the ankle from Paul Dummett. Looked like a decent shout but there were no real appeals from the Watford players.

  13. Postpublished at 15:13 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

    Brighton 0-0 Everton

Everton are sitting deep, giving up possession and soaking up pressure.

But they are looking lively when they do get the ball in the final third.

Michael Keane heads wide from eight yards out after Bernard's deep cross.

  14. Postpublished at 15:11 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

    Leicester 0-0 Cardiff

A subdued start at Leicester. No real chances created yet but Cardiff's Sean Morrison has just headed over the bar from a set-piece.

  15. 'Spurs oozing confidence'published at 15:10 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

    Tottenham 0-0 Wolves

    Matthew Upson
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

This is classic Tottenham. They are oozing confidence. You look at the players they have up front, they all have the ability to drop into pockets and move into areas defenders don't want them to, moving the back four and creating space.

  16. Postpublished at 15:10 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

    Fulham 0-0 Huddersfield

The first effort of the match at Craven Cottage as Philip Billing lets fly from distance.

The shot is central but the ball swerves through the air like a toe-poked beach ball.

Sergio Rico parries nervously, but, fortunately for the goalkeeper, there are only white shirts waiting in front of him.

  17. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:08 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

    Watford 0-0 Newcastle

Matt Ritchie canters into the Watford box and is looking for the return ball when he's pushed in the back by Roberto Pereyra. Newcastle fans appeal for a penalty but referee Roger East waves it away.

  18. Postpublished at 15:08 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

    Tottenham 0-0 Wolves

Son Heung-min - 10 goals in his past 10 starts - doesn't need asking twice.

The South Korean sets his sights from 20 yards, but the connection is duff and his effort trundles past the post with Wolves keeper Rui Patricio in close attendance.

  19. 'Everton lack consistency'published at 15:07 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

    Brighton 0-0 Everton

    Alex Scott
Ex-Arsenal Ladies & England international on BBC Final Score

Their style of play has changed and that’s what the fans want to see, but the key for me is that consistency.

They were so strong against Burnley but were picked off against Spurs. If they want to become one of the top teams, they have to be consistent.

    Tottenham 0-0 Wolves

An early injury problem for Wolves to deal with. Leander Dendoncker - making his first Premier League start for Wolves after a summer move from Anderlecht - twists a knee as he attempts to circumvent the bulk of Moussa Sissoko.

The Belgian is OK to continue after a quick dab of the magic sponge.
