Morelos came on in the final half hour against Livi, scoring the second and setting up the third in a 3-0 win.

In Austria the Red Bull rivals are tied 0-0 at the interval.

Celtic would take that but a home win for Salzburg against Leipzig would be better.

  4. Dominance rewarded for Celticpublished at 18:49 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2018

    HT: Rosenburg 0-1 Celtic

Celtic deserve to be in front given the movement, passing and chances they have created. They have looked sharp from the off.

It was once again wonderful play that led to the goal and James Forrest’s delivery for Sinclair was exquisite. It was laid on a plate.

It was such an important time to get in front as frustration might have crept in given their dominance.

They are winning the ball back quickly when they don’t have it, which hasn’t been too often in the first half, and creating opportunities with great regularity.

If they maintain this level, Celtic may well score more in what appears to be a comfortable evening.

A great goal at a great time. A ball played down inside the box for Forrest. He's dragged the centre-half out of the middle and left the space at the back post for Sinclair.

Celtic's pressure pays off as James Forrest stands up a lovely cross from the right edge of the box and there is Scott Sinclair all alone at the back post to nod home.

I've not seen Celtic play with so much control and possession away from home in Europe. They just need that final bit of composure in and around the box.

Celtic are currently enjoying 74% of possession as Ryan Christie is hacked down by Samuel Adegbenro and Rosenborg captain Mike Jensen makes it a rapid-fire double booking with some back chat for the ref.

Celtic are the hungrier team. They want the prize. Getting that first goal is going to be critical

  12. CLOSE!published at 30 mins

Here come Celtic again and goalkeeper Andre Hansen is kept busy keeping out shots from James Forrest then Tom Rogic before Odsonne Edouard fires just wide.

  13. Postpublished at 26 mins

    Rosenborg 0-0 Celtic

The home side threaten for the first time as Yann Erik de Lanlay flashes in a powerful cross from the right after barging Scott Sinclair off the ball. Nicklas Bendtner is the nearest home player but can't get anything on it.

The former Arsenal striker plays despite having a 50-day jail term hanging over his head after dropping his appeal against the assault of a taxi driver.

A really good save there. Rogic had to hit it first time with that trusted left foot.

  15. GOOD SAVE!published at 23 mins

    Rosenborg 0-0 Celtic

A poor touch from Odsonne Edouard allows the ball to roll into the feet of Tom Rogic and the big Aussie slams in a low, first-time effort that draws a fine diving save from Andre Hansen.

  16. Chances flowing for Celticpublished at 18:21 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2018

    Rosenburg 0-0 Celtic

    Martin Dowden
    BBC Sport Scotland in Trondheim

Celtic have settled very quickly here with Rosenburg offering very little going forward until the past few minutes.

The visitors are getting on the ball and creating chances, it is simply a question of taking one or two and keeping things tight at the back.

It is a strange environment with a very sparse home crowd. Unusually, away from home in Europe, Brendan Rodgers’ side look comfortable and more than capable of getting the win they need.

  17. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 20 mins

    Rosenborg 0-0 Celtic

Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard wants a penalty as his flick rolls against the arm of Anders Konradsen.

Turkish referee Halis Ozkahya is not interested.

  18. Postpublished at 17 mins

    Rosenborg 0-0 Celtic

Scott Sinclair motors down the left and his cut-back falls for James Forrest, who sends a back-heel into the path of Ryan Christie but the midfielder's shot is deflected just wide by a stretching defender.

  19. Postpublished at 15 mins

    Rosenborg 0-0 Celtic

Celtic continue to make most of the running, with Rosenborg rarely getting out of their own half. Maybe the home players are still a bit tender after their weekend title celebrations?

  20. What now for Rangers?published at 18:08 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2018

    Rangers v Villarreal (20:00)

Two goals in the last 10 minutes for Rapid Vienna in Russia have turned Group G on its head.

The Austrians now lead by a point from Villarreal after their 2-1 victory over Spartak Moscow - with Rangers pushed to the bottom on head-to-head record against the Russians.

Mendes Ze Luis' fine drive into the far corner gave Spartak the lead after 20 minutes, which would have put Spartak in control of the section.

When Mert Muldur was presented with a free header from a corner, it was better news for Rangers as a draw in Moscow would have meant Steven Gerrard's side could potentially qualify with two draws in their remaining games.

However, as the game entered stoppage time, Philipp Schobesberger raced on to a through ball behind the home defence and, although he looked offside, the midfielder rolled it home for an unlikely victory.

It means Villarreal can now secure qualification with a win at Ibrox tonight. If they do, Rangers would then have to beat Rapid in their final game and hope the Spanish side don't lose to Spartak.

A Rangers win and Steven Gerrard's side go top and a draw in Austria would guarantee progress. It's a tight old group, with a few twists and turns to come.
