    The big winners from today's second-tier games are Ayr United, even though they did not even play this weekend.

    Ayr's match with Inverness CT last night was postponed but Ian McCall's side remain top of the Championship after nearest challengers Ross County and Dundee United both drew.

    Partick Thistle have moved off bottom after beating Dunfermline Athletic while Alloa Athletic and Falkirk now occupy the bottom two places after those sides drew.

    By drawing with County, Queen of the South edge into the top four while Morton move to within a point of Inverness after drawing with Dundee United.
