I thought it was a penalty if Forrest didn't finish off because the goalkeeper took him out. What a finish from an acute angle from Forrest - a man with high confidence - up into the roof of the net with a defender on the line. Brilliant finish and a good goal again from Celtic to put them 5-1 up

  2. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16:31 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    Livingston 2-1 St Mirren

Declan Gallagher comes painfully close to extending the home side's advantage, but his looping header hits the bar and bounces clear. St Mirren are still in this, but Livingston look the more likely to score next.

  3. goal

GOAL - Aberdeen 0-2 St Johnstonepublished at 16:30 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    Blair Alston

Blair Alston was dropped to the bench after his midweek goal in the draw with Hearts, but the midfielder strikes again minutes after coming on as a substitute.

The midfielder shows a neat bit of footwork before curling a fine drive over Aberdeen goalkeeper Joe Lewis and into the far corner from just outside the penalty box.

    Hearts 1-0 Motherwell

    Brian McLauchlin
    BBC Sport Scotland at Tynecastle

Motherwell are far from done and dusted in this match. The Steelmen have been much quicker in getting the ball up to strikers Curtis Main and Danny Johnson but so far Christophe Berra has been excellent in marshaling the Hearts defence.

  5. goal

GOAL - Aberdeen 0-1 St Johnstonepublished at 16:27 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    Joe Shaughnessy

Aberdeen have had the better of the second-half pressure, but it is Saints who break the deadlock as Joe Shaughnessy rises to head his second goal of the season following a corner.

The former Dons centre-half is certainly playing a captain's role.

    Ryan Hardie

After Scott Pittman's effort was blocked, the ball fell to Ryan Hardie, who blasted the ball high into the roof of the net to get his first goal of the season. Gary Holt's half-time team-talk looks to have worked wonders.

    Livingston 1-1 St Mirren

    Kenny Crawford
BBC Sport Scotland at the Tony Macaroni Arena

Livi’s equaliser has really brought this game to life. It was Scott Pittman’s third goal of the season and he’s always a trusty and reliable contributor to the hosts’ cause. Since then there’s been a real edge to the match and it’s much more end-to-end.

  12. Postpublished at 16:20 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    Aberdeen 0-0 St Johnstone

Lewis Ferguson is next to test Zander Clarke with a low curling drive from 18 yards.

It is straight at the goalkeeper, who nevertheless makes a bit of a meal of it before managing to push it clear.

  13. Motherwell go in search of equaliserpublished at 16:20 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    Hearts 1-0 Motherwell

Motherwell are pressing for an equaliser but are struggling to find a creative spark. Charles Dunne's header and Danny Johnson's blocked shot are as close as they have come, with neither troubling the Hearts' goal.

    Hamilton 0-0 Hibernian

There's a good early touch for replacement keeper Jacob Marsden, who dives full-stretch to push away a shot from Florian Kamberi.

Moments before, Ziggy Gordon glanced a header just wide from an Accies free-kick.

  15. KICK-OFFpublished at 16:17 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    Celtic 4-1 Kilmarnock

    Jonathan Sutherland
BBC Sport Scotland at Celtic Park

Is that hope for Kilmarnock? Perhaps respectability is the best they can hope for as they were annihilated in the first half. No doubt about the penalty, a good call from referee Nick Walsh as Rory McKenzie was felled in the box. Up stepped sub Eamonn Brophy to pull it back 4-1.

  17. Postpublished at 16:15 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    Aberdeen 0-0 St Johnstone

It's stilll 50-50 at Pittodrie and it's Aberdeen's turn to create a chance, but Connor McLennan fires straight at goalkeeper Zander Clark.

  18. Controversial penalty callpublished at 16:15 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    Celtic 4-1 Kilmarnock

    Pat Bonner
Former Celtic goalkeeper on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

Gordon got a decent hand to it and I thought he was going to save it. There's a little bit of controversy about this goal and whether it was inside the box. I thought it was a penalty. McKenzie was going at pace and when you stick out a leg and you go to ground then suddenly the referee has got to make that call

  19. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16:14 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    Celtic 4-1 Kilmarnock

James Forrest fires against the post as Celtic press for a fifth.

  20. Second change of goalkeeper for Acciespublished at 16:13 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    Hamilton 0-0 Hibernian

Gary Woods was a late addition to the Accies starting line up, replacing Jan Mucha after the warm-ups.

It looks like Woods was hurt in that collision with Martin Boyle and Jacob Marsden is now off the bench for the start of the second half.

Remember, Hibs changed keepers in the minutes before kick-off too...
