  1. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:14 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2018

    St Mirren 1-1 Aberdeen

Sam Cosgrove plays through Stevie May, who should score.

But although the striker's shot has plenty of power, it is at a good height for Dean Lyness and the debutant goalkeeper blocks for a corner.

  2. Postpublished at 16:11 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2018

    St Mirren 1-1 Aberdeen

It's a half chance for St Mirren as Ryan Edwards gets down the right-hand side, but his shot is straight into the hands of Aberdeen goalkeeper Joe Lewis.

  3. goal

GOAL - Kilmarnock 1-0 Dundeepublished at 16:11 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2018

    Kirk Broadfoot

They do not get much scrappier than that. Kilmarnock get a corner and Dundee fail to clear their lines, allowing Kirk Broadfoot to force the ball home at the back post after goalkeeper Jack Hamilton spills it on the line.

  4. CLOSE!published at 16:10 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2018

    St Johnstone 0-2 Motherwell

Big chance for Motherwell after Zander Clark comes for the ball and makes a hash of his punch.

The ball falls for David Turnbull, and then Danny Johnson, but Saints manage to scramble the ball clear.

An unconvincing start to this second half from the hosts, who have spent the first few minutes pinned back.

  5. goal

GOAL - Ayr United 3-3 Ross Countypublished at 16:08 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2018

    Don Cowie

It seems we spoke too early about Ayr stretching their lead at the top of the Championship.

Two goals at the start of the second half have County level as Don Cowie pounces on a goalkeeping error.

  6. goal

GOAL - Ayr United 3-2 Ross Countypublished at 16:04 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2018

    Billy Mckay (penalty)

Billy Mckay is pulled down in the penalty box and the striker steps up to score from the spot.

County back in the match immediately after the break.

  7. Terrific farepublished at 16:03 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2018

    HT: Kilmarnock 0-0 Dundee

    Jane Lewis
BBC Sport Scotland at Rugby Park

This has been an entertaining match, with both sides creating chances and going close.

Kenny Miller and Greg Stewart perhaps should have done better for their teams, but both sides are showing intent and threat.

    Terrific fare, warming the crowd.

  8. Ayr have staying power!published at 16:01 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2018

HT: Ayr United 3-1 Ross County

    Kenny Crawford
BBC Sport Scotland at Somerset Park

We’re only halfway through the match, but so far Ayr are showing the kind of resolve under serious pressure that is a hallmark of champions.

Despite being a goal down, Ian McCall’s men have responded magnificently, with Lawrence Shankland at the heart of things once again.

County started really well and could have gone 2-0 up at one stage, but they’re now rattled by Ayr’s fantastic response.

  9. Cammy shinespublished at 16:01 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2018

    HT: St Mirren 1-1 Aberdeen

    John Barnes
    BBC Scotland in Paisley

It’s been quite an open game at Paisley so far with Cammy MacPherson in his fourth start of the season catching the eye and not just for his well taken first top-team goal.

The teenager worked well alongside the experienced Stephen McGinn trying to be the more attack minded of the two.

Aberdeen dominated early on but didn’t create enough clear cut chances.

  10. Ayr on a high against Countypublished at 16:00 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2018

HT: Ayr United 3-1 Ross County

Ayr appear to be on their way to stretching their lead over County at the top of the Championship after recovering from an early blow at Somerset Park.

Two more goals from Lawrence Shankland, supposedly a target for Swansea City, have helped his side to a two-goal lead at the break.

  11. Sorry Saints, marvellous Motherwellpublished at 15:57 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2018

    HT: St Johnstone 0-2 Motherwell

    Jonathan Sutherland
BBC Sport Scotland at McDiarmid Park

A wonderful first half for Motherwell at a venue where they have failed to win in six years.

Horrendous from St Johnstone in horrendous conditions.

After their fine run of eight matches unbeaten, Tommy Wright will not be happy at all with that first half showing from the home side.

As for his Motherwell counterpart, Stephen Robinson must be absolutely delighted.

His team have been sharp from the off and Danny Johnson scored the second.

It’s not been St Johnstone’s day - underlined by Mark Gillespie’s save from Matty Kennedy. The only good news for the hardy St Johnstone fans here today is that it’s not snowing - yet.

  12. Having fun, Tommy?published at 15:55 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2018

Saints boss Tommy Wright won't have enjoyed that first half - and not just because of the icy rain.

  14. HALF-TIME St Mirren 1-1 Aberdeenpublished at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2018

A lively first half in Paisley. Aberdeen looked to be taking control of the game and got themselves in front with a Stevie May penalty.

However, St Mirren have shown the character that manager Oran Kearney called for before the game and fought back with Cameron MacPherson getting on the end of Adam Hammill's free-kick to give the home side a deserved equaliser.

  15. HALF-TIME St Johnstone 0-2 Motherwellpublished at 15:47 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2018

What a first half we've had in Perth. Those in attendance will need to catch their breath.

Fair enough, that's partly because it's blowing a gale, but still.

Two early goals have punished the hosts, but Mark Gillespie's penalty spot from Matty Kennedy could be just as important.

No goals but no shortage of chances at Rugby Park.

Both sets of players have shown ambition and composure despite the wet conditions and are unfortunate not to have found the net.

    St Mirren 1-1 Aberdeen

    Jim Spence
    on BBC Sportsound

St Mirren have played some very decent football. Adam Hammill has been a threat, but the winger hasn't seen enough of the ball. It is an important goal for them though.

  18. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:45 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2018

    St Johnstone 0-2 Motherwell

Great play from Matty Kennedy. The winger picks the ball up out left, cuts inside from deep and strikes for goal 20 yards out.

The ball looks like just trundling in until Mark Gillespie appears to tip away. Better from Saints.

  19. goal

GOAL - Ayr United 3-1 Ross Countypublished at 15:45 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2018

    Andy Geggan

County would have been disappointed to be 2-1 down given the balance of play - but now they are further behind.

Andy Geggan looks to have provided a final touch in a goalmouth scramble.

  20. CLOSE!published at 15:42 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2018

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Dundee

Stephen O'Donnell almost knocks Kenny Miller's low cross into his own net after Jesse Curran stretches his foot out to try to convert.

A fortunate escape for the Kilmarnock full-back.
