  3. Killie's turn to chase top spotpublished at 13:54 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2018

    Scottish Premiership

With Hearts having flunked their lines in a bid to join Celtic at the Premiership summit, it's Kilmarnock's turn today to have a chance of reaching the top.

Having already led the way a week ago, Steve Clarke's side can go a point ahead of Celtic, albeit the reigning champions would have three games in hand, should they beat second-bottom Dundee.

Livingston's stunning win last night took Gary Holt's side above St Johnstone and Aberdeen, but both those sides can leap above Hearts into fourth if they take care of struggling Motherwell and St Mirren respectively.

  4. More craziness to come?published at 13:45

What an amazing couple of nights of football we've had here in Scotland.

Celtic looked to be heading out of the Europa League as they fell behind at home to an impressive Salzburg on Thursday - until Rosenborg struck an unlikely late equaliser in Leipzig.

Last night, it was the turn of Livingston to provide a stunning finale as they scored five goals in 14 minutes to thump Hearts and prevent the visitors joining Celtic at the top of the Premiership.

Let's hope today's three top-flight games can also provide some drama - not to mention what is arguably the game of the day as Ayr United host Ross County in the top-of-the-table clash in the Championship.
