    Rotherham 1-1 Leeds

More good goalkeeping from Marek Rodak, who has had to earn his corn at times for Rotherham this season, denies Leeds a goal as they press and push for the lead.

Jack Harrison found the Slovakian keeper at his best when he tried a low cross-shot.

    Norwich 2-1 Sheff Utd

There was almost an immediate response from Sheffield United when Gary Madine brought an acrobatic reply from Canaries keeper Tim Krul.

Mark Duffy is on for the Blades, as is David McGoldrick, with Chris Wilder turning to experience to guide his side back towards parity and perhaps three points.

They'll have to come from behind to do it though.

Plenty of goals to tell you about in League Two as Charlie Kirk equalises for Crewe against Colchester.

Christian Doidge has also doubled Forest Green's advantage over Stevenage with a fine strike and Luke Varney has pulled a goal back for Cheltenham against Macclesfield.

    Rotherham 1-1 Leeds

Kiko Casilla has shown his qualities with a superb save to deny hammer-booted Will Vaulks.

Rotherham forward Vaulks picked it up in the same territory that Semi Ajayi nailed the opener from, but this time Leeds' Spanish keeper Casilla keeps it out.

Real wrist-snapper from Vaulks, who can really hit them.

Well... It just had to be, didn't it?

Tammy Abraham slots home his 19th goal of a remarkable season. That's his 11th goal in his past five games at Villa Park.

The kid just doesn't belong in the Championship.

  6. goal

GOAL: Norwich 2-1 Sheff Utdpublished at 16:19 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2019

    Teemu Pukki (56 mins)

Norwich, having ridden their luck a bit in the second half, show their promotion 'cojones' with a super goal from Finnish-er supreme Teemu Pukki.

Energetic full-back Max Aarons sends in a cross and Pukki shows remarkable cuteness to flick his 21st in all competitions past Dean Henderson.

Lead regained. How will that go down at Rotherham, with those Leeds fans?

  7. PENALTYpublished at 16:18 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2019

    Aston Villa 1-0 Ipswich

Now he's been fouled in the box, has John McGinn...

    Penalty for Villa.

  8. Rochdale sink Barnsleypublished at 16:18 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2019

    League One

Ian Henderson has given Rochdale the lead away to promotion-chasers Barnsley.

Barnsley boss Daniel Stendel doesn't look too happy, a win today could see them go third, and they'll have to do it the hard way now.

  9. Postpublished at 16:18 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2019

    Aston Villa 1-0 Ipswich

John McGinn, the human equivalent of the Duracell bunny, has done everything but score so far for Aston Villa.

Over the bar, saved, fouled. Will luck fall his way?

  10. Postpublished at 16:16 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2019

    Stoke 0-1 Preston

Stoke are starting to have a bit of a go now.

Sam Clucas has just come really close to equalising, beating the goalkeeper from close range but seeing his shot headed off the line by Ben Davies.

Moments later there's a big appeal for a Potters penalty for handball too... But the referee is unmoved.

    Norwich 1-1 Sheff Utd

Having conceded on the cusp of the half-time whistle, Norwich find themselves a bit under the cosh early on in the second period.

Billy Sharp was close to a second as his header clipped the bar, before Gary Madine headed over a Oliver Norwood free-kick. John Fleck bent a shot just wide. Three good Blades chances at the beginning of the half now.

  12. Blackpool on the up?published at 16:13 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2019

    League One

Blackpool's Nathan Delfouneso has just opened the scoring for The Seasiders at Coventry.

But the away side aren't done there as Armand Granduillet pokes home a second to double their advantage.

  13. Postpublished at 16:13 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2019

    Blackburn 2-0 Hull

We're only 50 minutes in at Ewood Park but Hull boss Nigel Adkins has already twice turned to his bench, with Fraizer Campbell coming on at half-time for his 100th Tigers appearance.

Will his introduction make a difference?

  14. goal

GOAL: Rotherham 1-1 Leedspublished at 16:10 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2019

    Mateusz Klich (51 mins)

Leeds 'klich' into life in the second half, scoring an equaliser through Polish forward Mateusz Klich, who finds the target from close range.

Bit of flapping in the Millers backline there. Jack Clarke off at half-time, Tyler Roberts on. Leeds look a different prospect already.

    Stoke 0-1 Preston

Stoke v PrestonImage source, Rex Features

A week on from Stoke's superb win against Leeds, Nathan Jones' side just haven't got going today.

Preston have had more of the ball and more of the chances so far and deservedly lead.

  16. goal

GOAL: Nott'm Forest 2-1 Wiganpublished at 16:07 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2019

    Matty Cash (48 mins)

    Nottingham Forest retake the lead!

Adelene Guedioura sweeps a beautiful ball to Matty Cash, who blasts the ball across goal and into the far corner from the right.

Fine start for Forest, Matty Cash worth his weight in goal-d there...

  17. Postpublished at 16:07 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2019

    Aston Villa 1-0 Ipswich

There hasn't been an awful lot of ambition shown by Paul Lambert's Ipswich on his return to former club Villa.

The first chance of the second half went to Villa, Tammy Abraham - seeking a second - attaches himself to a wonderful cross from Albert Adomah and it's saved by Bartosz Bialkowski.

    Suitably refreshed, suitably rested.

Time for the teams to get back out there across the EFL and entertain us.

Take it away gents. A few goals would be nice if you don't mind?

    FT: Northampton 1-1 Morecambe

It's all over in the 14:00 GMT kick-off between Northampton Town and Morecambe.

Morecambe's Richie Bennett cancelled out Timi Elsnik's opener as the game finished 1-1.

  20. The League Two half-time headlinespublished at 16:02 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2019

    • Macclesfield Town are set to move out of the relegation places, with Sol Campbell's side 2-0 up against fellow strugglers Cheltenham Town despite being down to 10 men.
    • High-flying Mansfield Town could go second, as they lead Tranmere Rovers at half-time, while play-off hopefuls Forest Green Rovers and Colchester United are also ahead.
    • But MK Dons - another of the promotion-chasing pack - trail 1-0 to Grimsby Town at the break.
