    Phew. Lively eh?

Get a brew or whatever, while we sum it all up from across the EFL.

  4. goal

GOAL: Norwich 1-1 Sheff Utdpublished at 15:49 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2019

    Billy Sharp (45 mins)

He doesn't miss those. Billy Sharp, the Blades talisman, pops up to drill in his spot kick after Emi Buendia's foul on Enda Stevens.

What a time to score his 18th of the season. He's not lost a game in the past 46 in which he's scored, I'm reliably told.

    Big, big goal.

  5. PENALTYpublished at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2019

    Norwich 1-0 Sheff Utd

Enda Stevens is pushed in the box... Penalty to Sheffield United!

Dramatic end to the half at Carrow Road!

  6. Postpublished at 15:47 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2019

    Rotherham 1-0 Leeds

Marek Rodak shows he's been paying attention with a key save to keep their lead alive at the break, Jack Harrison's chance was saved as Leeds push for a leveller.

Half-time looms. Rotherham's last minute free-kick was barely worth a mention, poor execution from a decent position.

  7. Red cards aplenty in League Twopublished at 15:46 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2019

    League Two

    Red cardImage source, Rex Features

Tranmere's Oliver Banks has just been shown a second yellow card as Rovers trail Mansfield 1-0.

Jorge Grant had got Mansfield's opener, and it now looks to be an uphill battle for Mickey Mellon's side.

Port Vale's Ricky Miller has also been shown a red against Carlisle and Harry Davis of Grimsby has been sent off against MK Dons.

There's been more sending offs in League Two than there has been goals in League One.

    Norwich 1-0 Sheff Utd

Emi Buendia was forced out of Norwich's win against Birmingham with a dead leg and he looks like he's playing to make up for lost time.

He tip-toed his way into the box but John Egan helped shepherd the midfielder to safety.

Norwich might close out this half.

    Nott'm Forest 1-1 Wigan

Latics winger Kal Naismith tends to deliver his best work in the opposition penalty area but he's just come up with a diamond-cut touch to clear as Forest's Matty Cash looked set to regain the lead from close range.

Wigan under the pump a bit as Forest seek to assert themselves on home turf.

    Rotherham 1-0 Leeds

Unsurprisingly Leeds have cranked things up since going behind.

Wide areas seem to be their main source of threat, with Luke Ayling and Pablo Hernandez both slinging in dangerous crosses.

Rotherham's big lads at the back have had to be on their toes. Billy Jones and Clark Robertson well switched on.

    Blackburn 2-0 Hull

Hull haven't lost a Championship match since 24 November, with the Tigers' remarkable rise up the table one of the stories of the EFL season so far.

They're not going to rise much further if they keep playing like they are today, however. Blackburn are absolutely bossing the match at Ewood Park and visiting boss Nigel Adkins is not at all happy.

Sheffield steel coming to the fore at Carrow Road, as the Blades have responded well from going behind before hand.

Gary Madine had his shot blocked as United attacked the Canaries goal, Tom Trybull in the right place for the hosts.

Outside of that, Enda Stevens caught opposing full-back Max Aarons, and the Norwich full-back required treatment.

  13. goal

GOAL: Nott'm Forest 1-1 Wiganpublished at 15:34 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2019

    Josh Windass (32 mins)

We've had a few shots from distance creeping in, and Josh Windass has joined the party.

Wigan looked good before going behind, and they've not been daunted.

Windass got it, pinged a low zipper through Costel Pantilimon and in. Parity at the City Ground.

    Aston Villa 1-0 Ipswich

Villa v IpswichImage source, Rex Features

It's a committed effort from both teams at Villa Park, reflected by the frequency of players entering the referee's notebook.

Anwar El Ghazi for Villa after he lopped down James Collins, while Myles Kenlock gets a card for pulling down John McGinn.

Excitement ripples for a minute as Villa think they have a second... but Albert Adomah is offside as he tucks home after Bartosz Bialkowski parried John McGinn's shot.

  15. Managerless Luton going toppublished at 15:32 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2019

    League One

Adebayo Akinfenwa has the first goal of League One, giving his Wycombe side the lead at home to Plymouth.

If results go their way, the Chairboys could jump to as high as eighth in the table by 17:00 GMT.

Luton have also taken the lead away to Southend through Matty Pearson - that goal sees them rise to the top of the table having played a game more than Portsmouth.

  16. goal

GOAL: Rotherham 1-0 Leedspublished at 15:30 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2019

    Semi Ajayi (29 mins)

    THUNDEROUS. ABSOLUTELY THUNDEROUS.

Semi Ajayi is not known for his prolific goalscoring, but this was one worth waiting for.

The Millers defender sauntered through the Leeds ranks, before letting one go from 25-yards.

Welcome to English football Kiko Casilla. Pick that one out. Leeds will have to come out to play now.

  17. Ten-man Macclesfield two uppublished at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2019

    League Two

Another big goal at the bottom as Richie Bennett equalises for Morecambe against Northampton in the early kick-off - there's 30 minutes left in that one.

Meanwhile, Macclesfield are now down to 10 men. Nathan Cameron is shown a straight red for pulling down Cheltenham's Jacob Maddox when he was through on goal... But just two minutes later Scott Wilson has doubled their advantage.

    Incredible!

Rotherham v LeedsImage source, Rex Features

Leeds certainly not having their own way at the New York Stadium, as Rotherham look well drilled and up to the task.

There was a bit of a worry for Jon Taylor after he went down with a knock, but he's back up and running.

No one wants to duck this derby. It's a proper slugfest in the midfield.

    Norwich 1-0 Sheff Utd

First genuine chance for Sheffield United, as some smart work between Gary Madine, Billy Sharp and George Baldock creates the opportunity for Everton loanee Kieran Dowell, who fails to bring a save out of Tim Krul as the ball goes wide.

  20. Postpublished at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January 2019

    Norwich 1-0 Sheff Utd

With the lead in their back pockets, Norwich City are coolly stroking the ball about, not allowing Sheffield United the chance to threaten.

Mario Vrancic just had a header wide, while Emi Buendia's shot was taken in by Blades keeper Dean Henderson.
