  1. HALF-TIME - Dundee 0-1 St Johnstonepublished at 15:49 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

St Johnstone ahead at the break and deservedly so. Scott Tanser's goal may have been fortunate but the Perth side have largely dominated. Dundee have their work cut out to turn this one around.

  2. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:47 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

    Hamilton 1-1 Motherwell

What a save from Gary Woods just before half-time. David Turnbull spreads the ball out left to Elliot Frear on a quick break. The winger takes a touch and blazes a left-foot shot at goal. It looks in all the way but Woods acrobatically tips over.

  3. CLOSE!published at 15:42 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

    Hamilton 1-1 Motherwell

James Keatings goes for goal from 25 yards from a free-kick. It's a great hit from the midfielder, but a wicked deflection off the Motherwell wall sends the ball inches wide of Mark Gillespie's right-hand post.

  4. CLOSE!published at 15:42 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

    Dundee 0-1 St Johnstone

Finally a chance for Dundee and it's a good one. A sweeping move on the left ends with Calvin Miller's effort across the face of goal deflected wide.

  6. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:41 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

    Livingston 0-0 Aberdeen

Two failed penalty appeals from Aberdeen in succession - both against Bruce Anderson.

The forward goes down easily under a challenge from goalkeeper Liam Kelly as the pair race on to a ball inside the penalty box.

Then the youngster collapses as Steven Lawless pushes out an arm as the pair challenge for a cross to the back post.

Livingston are quickly dealt a blow as veteran striker Lee Miller is forced off and replaced with Nicky Cadden.

  7. ouch!

    Ouch!published at 15:35 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

    Hamilton 1-1 Motherwell

A crunching tackle from Leonard Sowah leaves Motherwell's Richard Tait rolling about in agony. It was a high foot from Sowah, but it seems to be his follow through on Tait's standing foot that's causing the issue.

The Motherwell right-back hobbles back to his feet but then sits down in the dug out. David Turnbull is the man coming on.

  8. Postpublished at 15:35 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

    Kilmarnock 2-1 St Mirren

A good chance for the visitors to equalise but Adam Hammill hammers it over the bar from near the penalty spot after Cammy Smith set it up perfectly for him.

  10. Logan blow for Aberdeenpublished at 15:32 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

    Livingston 0-0 Aberdeen

A blow for the visitors, who already have several defenders missing through injury, as right-back Shay Logan is forced off.

Without a direct replacement on the bench, Derek McInnes sends on midfielder Stephen Gleeson, with Dominic Ball moving back into defence.

  11. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:31 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

    Livingston 0-0 Aberdeen

Livingston are coming more into the game and force a superb reaction save from Joe Lewis.

Centre-half Craig Halkett flicks on a header from a free-kick and the goalkeeper needs to reach down with a strong right hand to stop it crossing the line before grabbing it at the second attempt.

  13. Postpublished at 15:27 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

    Livingston 0-0 Aberdeen

Despite the attacking line-ups, it's all pretty scrappy at the Tony Macaroni Arena, with neither side having seriously threatened goal yet.

  14. Postpublished at 15:25 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

    Dundee 0-1 St Johnstone

Tony Watt and Matty Kennedy have shots blocked and Chris Kane has one saved as St Johnstone continue to press for a second goal.

If Dundee are not careful, this game will get away from them before half-time.

  17. goal

GOAL Hamilton 1-1 Motherwellpublished at 15:21 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

    Tom Aldred

How about that? What a response from Motherwell. Hamilton's lead lasted just four minutes with Tom Aldred striking.

A deep corner is flicked on by Peter Hartley to his centre-half partner, and the big defender lofts a half-volley high into the far corner. Game on.

  19. CLOSE!published at 15:19 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

    Kilmarnock 2-0 St Mirren

Another moment of good build-up play by Greg Stewart, but this time Eamonn Brophy fires over from inside the penalty area. St Mirren need to work out how to subdue Stewart or this game will quickly leave them behind.

  20. Postpublished at 15:18 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

    Dundee 0-1 St Johnstone

Another chance for St Johnstone as Scott Tanser is played in on goal. He could have scored his second of the day but somewhat ran out of steam and fired into the grateful arms of Jack Hamilton.
