Slavia Prague had earlier tweeted he had been given permission to travel to London.

    What does your club need?

    Wolves

David Evans from the Wolves Football Fancast:

"It could be the only bit of business on Deadline Day for Wolves, but Jonny Otto Castro has signed a permanent deal for a fee believed to be £15m.

"On loan from Atletico Madrid, the wing back has been excellent so far this season, and has slotted perfectly into an attacking style of play.

"Wolves are using the hashtag #Jonny2023 to announce the deal. Which just sounds like a reboot of the classic 1980's caper 'Short Circuit', but this time set in a dystopian 'Mad Max' style future where he only has his wits and smooth jokes to get him through."

Chelsea are still busy behind the scenes ahead of deadline - and some of the deals in the pipeline could involve players leaving Stamford Bridge on loan.

Michy Batshuayi appears to have a choice of loan deals between West Ham United and Real Betis unless Everton, believed to be his preferred destination, make a late (and at this stage unlikely) intervention and meet Chelsea's reported £35m asking price.

Everton cannot take the Belgium striker on loan as Chelsea's Kurt Zouma is already at Goodison Park on a similar arrangement.

Former England defender Gary Cahill and outcast midfield man Danny Drinkwater are others attracting attention on loan deals before the window closes.

Bojan Krkic is to remain at Stoke for the rest of the season despite huge interest in the former Barcelona forward.

Championship side West Brom were keen on the 28-year-old, who was also the subject of inquiries from Turkey, France and Germany, plus Major League Soccer.

However, Stoke boss Nathan Jones has told Krkic he will get the chance to impress over the second half of the season, so he will stay at the Britannia Stadium.

Krkic joined the Potters in 2014 and signed a new contract in 2016 than runs to 2020.

However, he fell out of favour at the back end of Mark Hughes’ time in charge and had spells on loan at Alaves and Mainz.

Krkic returned to Stoke in the summer and has scored one goal in 15 appearances but is yet to make an appearance since Jones replaced Gary Rowett as manager on 9 January.

Now when you are down near the foot of the Premier League like 19th-placed Fulham a new signing or two definitely does not go amiss.

Fan Sammy James and the presenter of the Fulhamish Podcast is hoping for just that:

"Most stories are about players leaving rather than arriving and it seems very likely that Aboubakar Kamara will be joining Turkish side Malatyaspor.

"There are a few incoming rumours that seem to have some substance to them. Apparently we are chasing Man United youngster Demetri Mitchell, but I personally feel like he is too inexperienced to really help plug our leaky defence.

"The other two rumours are also about defensive players. There seems to be some talk in Norwegian press about former West Ham player Havard Nordtveit joining, and also a few stories linking us with Bordeaux's Youssouf Sabaly.

"Both have high-level pedigree, and I'd be happy with either rocking up at Motspur Park this afternoon."
