I have to say I don't understand Ole repeating a mistake. Mata lacks mobility and that exposes Young at RB. DiMaria had a field day against that right wing line up, Hazard isn't bad either like. Worried.

Football, they say, is cyclical, so perhaps it should be no surprise that Chelsea and Manchester United meet in a repeat of last season's FA Cup final.

From Stamford Bridge to Old Trafford - via Wembley and Moscow - this is English football's most played fixture of recent times.

Chelsea, of course, won last season's final and the Blues haven't been knocked out of a domestic cup competition by Manchester United since 2002.

Back then Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still had a big chunk of his playing career ahead of him, and Maurizio Sarri had not long given up banking to concentrate on coaching Sansovino in Italy's fourth tier.

As the two men shake hands at Stamford Bridge, one could be wondering what will happen to him at the season's end - and the other pondering whether he will even last that long.

    JorginhoImage source, Getty Images

Paris St-Germain did a superb job on United's midfield last week, playing five in the middle with Marquinhos tracking Paul Pogba to stifle him completely.

N'Golo Kante is the only Chelsea player who might try to do the same thing, but I can't see it happening.

When 'Sarri-ball' is questioned, it is usually his use of Kante in a more advanced role that is brought up, but we have to remember he is not and has never been used in the Makelele role while in the Premier League.

In any case, Sarri wants something different from his holding midfielder.

Jorginho is there to play the Andrea Pirlo role or, as it is known in Italy, the 'Regista'. He is not there to tackle and break play up, he is there as a deep-lying playmaker.

  16. FA Cup specialist?published at 18:52 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February 2019

Manchester United’s Alexis Sanchez has been involved in 19 goals in 20 FA Cup games (10 goals, nine assists) – more than any other player since his first appearance in the competition.

He's only on the bench tonight though.
