Manchester United have been really aggressive. They have stopped the rhythm of Chelsea. Every time they come inside they've had a really solid spine.

Jorginho is a huge negative when Chelsea don't have the ball. He doesn't do enough when they don't have to ball.

The second goal is a mistake from midfield by Chelsea, losing the ball. Luiz gives Rashford so much space to pick the ball out and then Pogba is magnificent with his header.

The goalkeeper has to save the ball but it could have been stopped way before that.

  4. 'United have picked Chelsea off'published at 20:22 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February 2019

    HT: Chelsea 0-2 Man Utd

    Alan Shearer
Former England captain on BBC One

Man Utd have been much better than Chelsea. They have been more aggressive, sharper, won more tackles and have been very powerful. When they have had to defend they have done it very well and when they have attacked they hit Chelsea on the counter-attack. Chelsea have played right into Chelsea's hands and United have picked them off.

Dr David: Sarri has 45mins left to save his job. The manner of these defeats have been his down fall

Mr Lamide: What a response, to losing midweek, from United. This is the United I grew up watching. Why again do we need Pochettino?

Max Sobell: Yet again another anaemic performance from Chelsea when will Sarri learn to alter his stale tactics?

We spoke about this at the start, the left-hand side of Chelsea, you don't want Marcos Alonso to attack too much and both goals have come down that side.

At the moment Chelsea are in a spell where they concede goals easily and don't score easily. It's a bad combination.

    Manchester United are better.

Paul Pogba has now been directly involved in 15 goals in 12 games in all competitions under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer (9 goals, 6 assists), six more than he managed in 20 games under Jose Mourinho this season (5 goals, 4 assists).

I said Pogba was a little bit quiet and he set up the first goal and has now scored. He plays a great ball out to Rashford and wanders into the box, nobody picks him up, he ghosts in between two defenders – they stand and watch – the goalkeeper fumbles it on the line. It looks like slow motion.

It’s something that was coming. The game looks over. This back four are getting ripped apart.

GOAL - Chelsea 0-2 Man Utdpublished at 45 mins

    Paul Pogba

Yeah, about me saying that Paul Pogba was having a quiet night...

A goal to go with an assist for Pogba, but again Chelsea are very much culpable. It comes from a throw-in, Pogba is too strong for N'Golo Kante and plays in Marcus Rashford down the right. He has an ocean of space to pick out Pogba galloping into the middle, and his header is too hot for Kepa to handle.

    Should do better.

Good attack from Chelsea, Mateo Kovacic involved as the ball is worked out to Cesar Azpilicueta on the overlap but his low cross is well cleared by Victor Lindelof.

    Chelsea 0-1 Man Utd

    John O'Shea
Former Manchester United defender on BBC Radio 5 live

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was a very genuine guy, a nice guy as a player. But very determined. He always faced competition for his place.

He trained brilliantly, he was a dedicated top pro. I saw him suffer a lot with a bad injury, but he showed determination to come back.

You appreciate the skill he had with analysing games as a player and coming on and having an impact.

I wouldn't have said 'he will definitely become a manager'. I can't imagine him getting too angry in the dressing room unless his Cardiff experience and Molde has changed him.

He was such a calming influence to come in and calm things down. He was the perfect man at the right time - but bigger tests will follow.

  17. Pogba on songpublished at 41 mins

    Chelsea 0-1 Man Utd

Since Ole Gunnar Solksjaer took charge of Manchester United on December 19 2018, the only Premier League player to have had a hand in more goals for his club side than Paul Pogba (14) is Son Heung-Min (16).

Marcus Rashford catches Eden Hazard with a follow-through but after a bit of a limp the Belgian is able to carry on.

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Stamford Bridge

Manchester United's fans are making plenty of noise and no wonder. The cross from Paul Pogba was perfection and Ander Herrera's header was cool.

Shocker for Chelsea to concede though. Pogba was given space to deliver and both David Luiz and especially Marcos Alonso were slack in the penalty area.
