    Chelsea 0-1 Man Utd

It's only the away fans you can hear at the moment as they beat out a rhythm on the boards in front of their section. They've had four shots on target so far and lead thanks to Ander Herrera's header.

Gonzalo Higuain has been bright up front for Chelsea and nearly gets in behind but he hasn't quite got the pace. Still pretty even this.

Greg Morter: Too easy Chelsea defence all at sea.

Matthew Girvan: Herrera has been awesome so far and deserves that goal.

Ian Brennan: Herrera is man of the match already, and we’ve only played 30 minutes.

  3. CLOSE!published at 36 mins

    Chelsea 0-1 Man Utd

Almost an instant, fluke equaliser! Pedro shapes in a cross from the right, it takes a slight touch off Luke Shaw and catches out Sergio Romero, ending up flasing inches past the far post.

That goal shows the influence of the manager. Herrera is there to do a job but that is not going to stop him expressing himself and playing in the Man Utd way.

A runner didn’t track him. I don’t know what Alonso was doing, not seeing him. At this level he should be aware enough to spot him. Now Chelsea have to respond, the pressure is on them.

It's a different game for Chelsea now. It'll be interesting. Will they buckle?

It is wonderful play. This is the Achilles heel for Chelsea - marking in the box. Herrera just ghosts into the box.

The ball from Pogba was begging to be put into the back of the net.

We were saying how quiet Pogba has been on the left, but he gets the ball into the box. Herrera of all people sneaks in at the back. He couldn't miss it in the end. Chelsea’s midfield were all over one side of the pitch.

  10. goal

GOAL - Chelsea 0-1 Man Utdpublished at 31 mins

    Ander Herrera

That's what Paul Pogba can do on the left though! Or anywhere, really. United break the ball up and work it smartly out to the wing, Pogba looks up and drifts over a beautifully-weighted cross. Ander Herrera has made a great run into the box, not covered by Marcos Alonso, and he plants a header down and in.

I think I'll do well to recall much about Mateo Kovacic's loan spell at Chelsea in a few years' time.

For a player who has made 36 appearances I can't remember him doing much.

    At the other end...

  12. Postpublished at 28 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Man Utd

Paul Pogba has been nowhere near as influential as of late so far. He doesn't like being put out on that left-hand side and he's beaten too easily by Cesar Azpilicueta as Chelsea win a corner.

Chelsea players have been successful in the past - even after changing managers. The owner might be thinking "let's change another one, we'll still be successful".

Rashford is brilliant at putting pressure on the goalkeeper. It was not a good touch from Arrizabalaga.

This 'modern' goalkeeping still makes me nervous at times - Kepa tries to take a touch on his own goal-line and he's a lucky boy to get away with it!

Marcus Rashford closes him down at pace and the keeper has to slide in to hack his poor touch away. United pressing very hig hand hard though.

    Chelsea 0-0 Man Utd

If this turns flat, everything is possible tonight in what could happen to Sarri. He could be out of a job if they lose by a couple.

  19. Postpublished at 23 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Man Utd

Pedro wants another foul right on the edge of the area but referee Kevin Friend waves play on, Eden Hazard beats Chris Smalling with ease and drills in a low cross but it's well scooped up by Sergio Romero. The game is zipping along at a fair pace still.

  20. 'Really good pressing'published at 19:52 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February 2019

You can understand why Young is going in for that ball. It is really good pressing from United. He just timed that wrong.
