Ashley Tipton: Tidy finish from @barbarabonansea after a John Stoneseque error from Australia.
Australia 1-1 Italy
Italy smell blood. Valentina Bergamaschi picks the ball up in space on the right and tries to flick it into Barbara Bonansea in the box.
It's a bit heavy and Bonansea can't control it properly before a defender sticks a toe out to intercept.

The Italian bench go wild - they're all on their feet. And now the Italian flags around the stadium are being waved with joy.
It was a real gift from the Australian defence but Juventus star Barbara Bonansea took full advantage all right.
Meanwhile, just as they were at Friday night's opening game, Katy Perry's tunes are back dominating the goal music again, and I have a growing and worrying feeling that I'm going to be hearing her hits for the next four and a half weeks...

GAME ON.
Barbara Bonansea
Awful mistake from Clare Polkinghorne. John Stones, eat your heart out!
The Australian centre-back takes a heavy touch under pressure from Barbara Bonansea and it proves costly.
Bonansea weaves into the box, side-steps Alanna Kennedy, then slots the ball through her legs and into the keeper's bottom right.
Australia 1-0 Italy
Ellie Carpenter fizzes a ball across the face of the goal from the right. It comes all the way through to Caitlin Foord.
She takes a touch before blasting it towards the near post but the angle is tight and Laura Giuliani makes the block.
Australia 1-0 Italy
Another new rule. A dropped ball from where the last player touched it. So that means Sara Gama has it on the edge of her own box.
Australia 1-0 Italy
Lydia Williams punches clear the corner and Australia can break. It's four against three...
But the Italy players get back quickly and Sara Gama hooks it clear. Meanwhile, Manuela Giugliano and Valentina Cernoia are on the floor after picking up knocks during the build-up!

Off we go! Big half coming up.

The players are back out. Sam Kerr's kit is drowning her. It's like when you rock up late to 5-aside and only the extra large tops are available!
Best kits of the World Cup? Nigeria, Australia and South Africa?

Australia's assistant coach Ivan Jolic: "We've had our chances and we definitely look forward when we do get the ball and in wide areas. But the game's a bit too open for us and Italy look dangerous on the counter
"We want to be a bit more solid in the second half and continue to be patient during the build-up. We think there's big distance between their lines and we're looking to play the ball into that pocket."
Sam Kerr's penalty rebound was her 32nd international goal.
Two of the three penalties conceded at this World Cup have been by players wearing shirt number three.
Two have also been conceded by the captains - Janine van Wyk and Sara Gama.
Barbara Bonansea’s disallowed goal would’ve been the fastest scored in the tournament so far, crossing the line after 8 minutes and 17 seconds.

Interesting...
Australia goalkeeper Lydia Williams has had more touches of the ball than any Italy player during the first half (32).

Sam Kerr is all smiles and high fives with her team-mates as she jogs off at half-time.
She's been a constant threat as we expected, but Caitlin Foord and her Portland Thorns team-mate Hayley Raso have both also been very, very good.
