  1. 'Dominant performance'published at 17:55 British Summer Time 9 June 2019

    England 2-0 Scotland

    Alex Scott
    Ex-England international on BBC One

England looked nervous at the start, they were giving passes away, but they started to connect and grew in confidence.

We've seen them end the half full of confidence and knowing it's been a dominant performance from them.

  2. 'Not getting there'published at 17:54 British Summer Time 9 June 2019

    England 2-0 Scotland

    BBC One

Former Scotland goalkeeper Gemma Fay: "England have a way of playing and Scotland have identified that. However, they're just not getting there quick enough to stop them from doing it."

  4. 'We see different decisions'published at 17:53 British Summer Time 9 June 2019

    England 2-0 Scotland

    Hope Solo
Former US goalkeeper and World Cup winner on BBC One

VAR is meant to be black and white, but unfortunately referees can have different interpretations of the rules. That's why we see different decisions still being made after the consultation of VAR. That's what's so frustrating with it.

  5. 'Stop giving the ball away'published at 17:51 British Summer Time 9 June 2019

    England 2-0 Scotland

    Julie Fleeting
Former Scotland striker on BBC Radio Scotland

I think the one thing Shelley Kerr will stress to the players is to stop giving away the ball needlessly. Scotland are making far too many individual errors. The players need to be available for a pass and help each other out. They need to want to get on the ball and be the player that changes the game.

  6. 'England should be further ahead'published at 17:51 British Summer Time 9 June 2019

    England 2-0 Scotland

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

What England have done very well is get to the ball and play it. The tempo has been very good. What they haven't done well enough, the amount of possession they have had in final third, they should be more than 2-0 up.

  8. 'England better all over'published at 17:48 British Summer Time 9 June 2019

    England 2-0 Scotland

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea and Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

The effort has been there by Scotland but England have been better all over the pitch.

  9. HALF-TIMEpublished at 17:48 British Summer Time 9 June 2019

    England 2-0 Scotland

A brilliant performance from England. Scotland just haven't been able to cope with them. Goals from Nikita Parris and Ellen White the difference so far.

  10. Postpublished at 45+2 mins

    England 2-0 Scotland

England's corner is played short to Fran Kirby, who then sets up Keira Walsh. She's a good 30 yards out but we've seen her score them plenty of times for Manchester City.

    This time, it's always rising.

Eddie Stone: Scotland have played well, but the Lionesses have been brilliant so far. Very impressive stuff.

David Church: There’s only 1 Ellen white, great finish, deserved with her hard work so far.

    Julie Fleeting
Former Scotland striker on BBC Radio Scotland

Rachel Corsie steps in - if she's not going to win the ball she needs to stay with Ellen White. It's a great left-footed shot, she gives Lee Alexander absolutely no chance. Really disappointing for Scotland.

  13. Postpublished at 17:45 British Summer Time 9 June 2019

    Alistair Magowan
BBC Sport at Stade de Nice

You have to say that goal had been coming. Hesitancy in the Scotland defence gifts England a chance and Ellen White doesn't mess around from there. It's been a very open game, but Scotland have a mountain to climb now. After two defeats in their four warm-up games, England are showing their pedigree.

  14. CLOSE!published at 45 mins

    England 2-0 Scotland

Beth Mead goes for one of those trademark 'crots' (a cross/shot) and it almost pays off. It causes all kinds of problems for Lee Alexander but the ball bounces off Sophie Howard and evades Fran Kirby.

  15. YELLOW CARDpublished at 44 mins

    England 2-0 Scotland

Nikita Parris skips past Jennifer Beattie and the Scotland defender brings her down. She gets a yellow for it and rightly so.

    No complaints from Beattie.

    Sue Smith
Former England forward on BBC One

It was clinical from Ellen White. When the ball falls to her she knows exactly what she's going to do and she executes it so well. I was going to say, England were trying to walk the ball into the net. Could someone just take that opportunity to have a shot? And it was a perfect finish. Lee Alexander had no chance.

  17. CLOSE!published at 43 mins

    England 2-0 Scotland

    I thought this was in!

Keira Walsh gives away the ball on the edge of her box and Erin Cuthbert's shot rolls literally cms past Karen Bardsley's right post.

    Inches... inches...

  18. 'Scotland have no answer'published at 17:42 British Summer Time 9 June 2019

    England 2-0 Scotland

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea and Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

That second goal has been coming. I said a few moments ago that Scotland wanted to get to the break at 1-0 so they could to make some tweaks.

England have looked stronger and stronger - Scotland have no answer right now.

  19. Postpublished at 17:41 British Summer Time 9 June 2019

    Julie Fleeting
Former Scotland striker on BBC Radio Scotland

Scotland have key players in the centre of midfield - they need to get them on the ball. Whenever they do get it they're driving at the England defence, who are too scared to make a challenge. But Scotland just can't keep the ball.

  20. goal

GOAL - England 2-0 Scotlandpublished at 40 mins

    Ellen White

    Ruthless.

When the ball falls to Ellen White in that position, she isn't missing. Fran Kirby gets a toe on a loose ball on the edge of the box, beating Rachel Corsie to it and it falls for White.

She picks her spot - the inside of the left corner - and ruffles the netting with a peach of a curler. Terrific finish!
