It's very difficult to make a case for the keeper. There is no pace on the shot and it's bread and butter for him. It's a lapse of concentration, a horrible one.

    That's it!

What a cruel finale for Colin Doyle, who has sadly cost his team a point right at the death. The Hearts stopper made some crucial saves earlier in the half but that is bonkers.

Motherwell climb above Hibernian into seventh. Hearts stay fifth.

A sixth Premiership win on the bounce for Stephen Robinson's men. They are flying.

    David Turnbull

    OH. MY GOODNESS.

What a howler from Colin Doyle! That is a horror show, grade-one, egg-on-face blunder from the Hearts goalkeeper.

David Turnbull's free-kick from the Garuccio red card is tame and heading straight for the stopper from 25 yards out.

It bounces in front of Doyle, and the goalkeeper almost scoops it behind him into his own net. A quite astonishing mistake.

    Ben Garuccio

Hearts will play the last two minutes of stoppage time with 10 men.

Ben Garuccio flies in on Liam Grimshaw with two feet and is shown a red card.

Fair call from referee Nick Walsh. That was a reckless and high-speed tackle.

    Motherwell 1-1 Heart of Midlothian

Hearts win a free-kick on the right and load up the box.

After a few headers, it falls for Souttar, who hooks his effort over his shoulder but into the arms of Mark Gillespie.

    Is there a winner?

    Motherwell 1-1 Heart of Midlothian

"I think Motherwell might have the angriest fans in the Premiership. When decisions go against them you heart all about it," says Sportsound commentator Al Lamont, as the home support howl their fury at a decision going against the Steelmen.

Souttar saves his blushes, because that's not a cross, that's a shot! Motherwell really fortunate there.

    Motherwell 1-1 Heart of Midlothian

Yet again, Uche Ikpeazu works his way into space deep in Motherwell territory.

His driven effort doesn't look it was intended to be a cross, but John Souttar gambles, and gets his forehead on the flying ball.

It flashes just across the face. Any stronger a touch and that was a goal.

Seven minutes to play. No sign of either side settling for a point. It's still full-blooded, end-to-end fare.

As if to illustrate my point, Carl McHugh and Aidan Keena clatter into each other in the air and wind up prone on the turf.

    Motherwell 1-1 Heart of Midlothian

Hastie almost turns provider in brilliant fashion.

The youngster cuts in from the right and whips in a fine ball with his left foot.

Turnbull takes it in his stride but, from point-blank range, can't quite squeeze the ball out from under his feet and get a shot on target.

Stephen Robinson makes his final change - Main off, another young gun in James Scott on.

If Hearts wanted a chance to fall to anyone, it would be Steven Naismith.

From a tight angle but a matter of metres out, the attacker lashes over with Mark Gillespie all over the place.

    What an opportunity. Hearts pressing.

  15. CLOSE!published at 75 mins

    Motherwell 1-1 Heart of Midlothian

Cracking tussle between Ikpeazu and Dunne, two big bruisers grappling up the right flank.

Ikpeazu wins that duel, swivelling his massive frame between Dunne and the ball.

The resultant free-kick falls kindly for Ikpeazu, and with his back to goal, fires low towards the bottom corner.

There's not enough pace on it to beat Mark Gillespie.

That change is to try and stop Naismith getting into those pockets, he was getting a bit of joy and Gorrin wasn't managing to find him. And also deal with the physical presence when it comes up to Ikpeazu - McHugh is much more physical than Gorrin. It's getting to that time where Motherwell want to shut up shop.

    Motherwell 1-1 Heart of Midlothian

Hearts have Motherwell scrambling again on the edge of the box.

Sean Clare did well to work space for a shot, but chose to lay it off for John Souttar instead. The defender's effort is blocked, and Oliver Bozanic lashes the rebound wide.

Another home substitution, Gorrin off and former captain Carl McHugh on.

Jake Mulraney's prodded cross is cleared by Aldred in the nick of time.

Oh my, Motherwell are pounding at the door. They just can't quite bust through it.

Ben Garuccio clears Curtis Main's header off the line from the corner.

Stephen Robinson makes his first change of the afternoon - Elliott Frear replaces Gboly Ariyibi.
