    Stunning save!

Motherwell counterattack with devastating speed and Turnbull speeds up the right, floats inside and rasps a shot on goal.

Doyle, again, comes to Hearts' rescue with a cracking fingertip save.

  2. CLOSE!published at 63 mins

Naismith curls in a fantastic ball towards the back post, but it's just too high for Clare and Ikpeazu. Tantalising delivery from Hearts' goal-scorer.

It's almost like a 4-4-2 for Hearts now. Ben Garuccio has gone to left back and Sean Clare is now drifting to the left side, with Jake Mulraney down the right

Hearts make a change. Ben Garuccio replaces Conor Shaughnessy, meaning they'll switch to a back-four.

Hearts just can't deal with Hastie. Mulraney didn't look comfortable, he let it bounce, and Hastie is all over him. Another great strike.

  6. GREAT SAVE!published at 59 mins

    Motherwell 1-1 Heart of Midlothian

Ooft, Hastie is at it again!

Mulraney gets bullied off the bouncing ball by Hastie. He works space for the shot and Doyle has to leap to his left to beat it clear.

Hastie is too hot to handle for Hearts just now...

I thought Aldred had a little kick out there.

Ooh, that looked a bit naughty from Tom Aldred.

The Motherwell defender crudely blocked off Steven Naismith and after the two players fall to deck, it looks like Aldred may have aimed a boot at the Hearts man.

He's booked for the initial challenge but I wonder if the compliance officer might be in touch...

Couple of heavy challenges from Christope Berra and Sean Clare and the Hearts captain is booked.

Possibly, it got caught between Ariyibi's feet and he rushed it. He probably could have got it on to his right but he went quickly with whatever foot happened to be closest.

Well, Gboly Ariyibi shows no ill effects from that knock.

The American races into the box, gets clean through on Colin Doyle, but can't squeeze his shot beyond the Hearts goalkeeper.

    Big chance, that

Up go Souttar and Ariyibi to contest the ball in the air.

Ariyibi hits the deck, Souttar inadvertently steps on him. That looked rather painful

Hearts make a strong start to the second period. Really sharp passing between Clare, Mulraney and Ikpeazu, but they can't quite work a shot on target.

Up the other end, Ariyibi threatens, but Souttar does enough to halt the Motherwell forward.

  17. HALF-TIME Motherwell 1-1 Heart of Midlothianpublished at 13:01 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2019

A pretty entertaining first half at Fir Park.

Motherwell will be irked not to head for the changing rooms with a lead.

They opened the scoring through red-hot Jake Hastie after 13 minutes, the teenager powering up the right, cutting inside and lashing home with his left foot. That's his fifth goal in six games.

Hastie, Curtis Main and Charles Dunne all came close to adding to the home advantage.

Defender Dunne blocked a Jake Mulraney shot at the other end, before Hearts brilliantly struck back.

Uche Ikpeazu's cross was fantastically clipped home by Steven Naismith at the second attempt.

All to play for in the second half...

  18. Ariyibi flies forwardpublished at 45 mins

    Motherwell 1-1 Heart of Midlothian

Goodness me, that was a dazzling run from Gboly Ariyibi.

The winger brings out all the step-overs and dummies to career past three defenders.

At full pace, he can't really direct a shot or cross into a good area as the ball runs towards the by-line, hitting only the side netting.

  19. CLOSE!published at 43 mins

    Motherwell 1-1 Heart of Midlothian

A couple of minutes remaining in the first half and Hearts load up the home box in search of a second goal.

Berra gets in amongst the action and causes a few problems in the Motherwell defence.

The home side clear, but Hearts fire the ball back to Ikpeazu, who shields the ball and lays off Sean Clare.

The midfielder tries to swivel and clip his shot beyond Gillespie at the near post - it's just wide.

You have to compliment Craig Levein for getting Steven Naismith into the penalty area more. But Hearts need to do more with the ball because they have got guys to hurt Motherwell
