The mood within the England camp here in Valenciennes - a small city in the north east of France - has been very relaxed since they arrived.

Several of the players were enjoying a coffee with their friends and family at the cafes in the main central square, adjacent to the fanzone this morning.

And the whole place is decorated with blue Women's World Cup signs.

Speaking at his press conference on Saturday, Phil Neville praised the city compared to Nice, saying: "The streets here are decked out in World Cup memorabilia, flags, and there are signs to the stadium on the paths.

"There’s a real World Cup feeling.

"It’s visible, it’s in people’s faces. It’s what a World Cup should be like."

    England v Cameroon (16:30 BST)

Whoever wins today between England and Cameroon will set-up a quarter-final tie with Norway.

A dramatic penalty shootout victory over Australia sent Norway through to the quarter-finals for the first time since 2007.

Norway, ranked 12th in the world, have got progressively better as the tournament has gone on and will be a tough opponent.

  5. 'Exploit those weaknesses'published at 16:08 British Summer Time 23 June 2019

    England v Cameroon (16:30 BST)

England boss Phil Neville said his side needed to be wary of Cameroon's attacking intent and admitted they would pose new problems.

"They have navigated their way out of the group and have got dangerous players in the attacking third," said Neville.

"They are a team who will go for the victory. That is something we've not experienced so far - a team who will go for the victory. We've got to defend well against that and exploit those weaknesses."

Ryan Scott: Don't agree with Beth Mead sitting out. She's been fantastic all tournament long.

Catherine Simms: Stanway and Mead would have started for me but great to have so many options.

Ian Smith: If you leave Beth out you deserve the flack if things don’t pan out...

England and Chelsea centre-back Millie Bright has been writing columns for BBC Sport throughout the World Cup.

“Me and my room-mate Rachel Daly can never sleep after night matches so we were sitting up until the small hours after Wednesday's win over Japan.

"You're so emotionally connected to the game that it's hard to switch off afterwards. It's a good time to have open and honest conversations about your performance, and what you can improve on next time.

"When one of us is struggling, it's great we can have the type of chat that doesn't leave the four walls of our room. Sometimes you just need to get it off your chest and move on. In tournament football, you cannot dwell on things for too long."

When you are playing at the highest level you have to be well-rounded. For me, Karen Bardsley is the most well-rounded England player.

    Can she get better? Absolutely.

England are going to have to keep possession at the back against Cameroon.

What I love about Steph Houghton is she doesn't play a typical pass. She will get the ball and look to play her midfielders in.

The England players are being put through their paces with some shuttle runs in the warm-up, but nobody out there will have been feeling a chill.

It's hot and humid here in Valenciennes (at about 50% humidity) and that might be a key factor this afternoon.

Darrell Hewitt: Stanway and Daly both deserve to be in the starting line up after the last performance.

Chris Watkins: Duggan a big game player for a big club side so I see that change. Don't understand how Stanway hasnt stayed in for Kirby though, did more in one game than Kirby did in the other two. As talented as Kirby is Stanway in better form and more effective at the moment.

  12. Wonder how Mead is feeling now?published at 15:57 British Summer Time 23 June 2019

    England v Cameroon (16:30 BST)

After Arsenal forward Beth Mead was dropped for the Japan game, Phil Neville said she "wasn’t happy.”

“She feels as if she’s in good form, she wants to play in every single game. Nikita Parris has not spoken to me for 24 hours because she wants to play in every single game. That’s what you’re going to get.”

It's the second game in a row she has been forced to sit out. Will that spur her on and can she make an impact off the bench today?

Richard Cohen: Kirby's a little lucky to get back in after Stanway and Carney both created goals from the #10 spot in the last game, but it's not a surprise. Left-wing spot is still up for grabs. Have to keep the ball better in midfield than vs Japan.

Christian Evans: Fran Kirby is arguably one of England's best players but for me she's yet to play her best in this tournament, hoping for a return to form today!

Simon Wellavize: Don’t understand Georgia Stanway not getting in the team after her performance last game. But I guess that’s why the FA pay Phil the money to make decisions.

    England v Cameroon (16:30 BST)

Cameroon head coach Alain Djeumfa, who only succeeded Joseph Ndoko in January, believes his side are "writing history" after reaching the knockout stages in successive finals.

"Everything is in place for us to showcase our talents," he said.

"I know these players inside out. They have been made for this and have a winning spirit, a fighting spirit. That is our strength and I can assure you that you will see this on the pitch.

"Cameroon is gaining in strength. We are taking baby steps at the moment. We will be the underdog. But we have something up our sleeves."

  20. History with Cameroonpublished at 15:39 British Summer Time 23 June 2019

    England v Cameroon (16:30 BST)

England have never faced Cameroon in a competitive match and their only run-in with African opposition was against Nigeria in 1995.

But England and Cameroon have a football history.

Four of the England players were involved in the Team GB squad that faced Cameroon in the London 2012 Olympics.

Jill Scott and Steph Houghton were actually on the scoresheet in a 3-0 victory in the group stages in Cardiff. Karen Carney and Ellen White were also in the squad.

And then there was the 1990 World Cup match between England's men and Cameroon in the quarter-finals.

Cameroon were 2-1 up and on course to cause a shock in Italy before Gary Lineker scored two penalties as England went on to win 3-2 after extra-time.
