England just need to keep their cool. They have dominated possession, they just need to be better with that final ball. They are 2-0 up now and don't need to do anything silly.

England boss Phil Neville: "We were in total control. I think at times it was a little too easy for us to control. Now it is about keeping possession of the ball. They are obviously frustrated, I don't know why, but it is about us keeping possession."

England have this game won, if they keep their cool. The most boring 45 minutes of the World Cup would do just fine. Cameroon are yet to touch the ball in England's penalty area, and Karen Bardsley has not had a shot to save.

Ellen White has scored four goals for England at this World Cup - the joint-most by an England player in a single tournament in the competition.

The decision has been made - it's a goal. Cameroon need to move on and focus on what they can do in the second half. It's been, it's gone and it's been decided. The decision is not going to be changed. Cameroon need to re-group and re-focus on the second half.

Jonny Blain: Cameroon accusing FIFA of racism?! There's being angry about being on the wrong end of VAR, and then there's that.

Grumpy expat: VAR expectatio: Shiny red sports car. Fast and lean. Everyone wants one. Driver clearly in control. VAR reality: a beaten up old jalopy, coughing and spluttering down the road. Chucks out clouds of smoke. Confuses bystanders. What idiot drives it?

What a crazy, crazy half that was?

First Yvonne Leuko's slap across Nikita Parris' face was shown just a yellow card (what's that all about?) before Toni Duggan appeared to have been spat in the face.

England got on with it and scored two goals - the second which went to a VAR review and clearly showed Ellen White to be onside.

The Cameroon players were appalled by something on the big screen and then refused to restart the game.

They huddled together in the centre of the pitch when the whistle went at half-time and the coach could not get them into the changing rooms.

There were then reports of players crying in the tunnel and accusations of racism towards Fifa - not from the England players.

    England 2-0 Cameroon

    Hope Solo
Former US goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Cameroon need to cool off. Their players need to drink some water and get some ice on the back of their necks. The manager needs to do something, get his team together and give them a boost of confidence.

There were a few boos when the half-time whistle went. The Cameroon players took a long time to leave the pitch.

In fact, the past five minutes have been absolutely bizarre here.

Up in the stands, there are members of the media from Cameroon who are similarly furious, but it's not entirely clear why. They seem to think the referee has had a shocker with that goal, but replays showed Ellen White was onside.

Gabby Logan has just said on BBC One that there are reports that Cameroon players are in the tunnel crying and making accusations of racism.

This situation has very quickly got out of hand.

Lisa: Cameroon players totally lost the plot! Such an unprofessional attitude, the referee is indulging them in it, no bookings from the officials sends the message they have lost the authority on this game!

Mack: And we thought the VAR controversy would be from penalties, not this.

I was expecting the manager to come on and say come on, VAR has got it right and we got it wrong. Simple as that.

John: Since when are teams allowed time to argue. The football has really impressed me in the World Cup so far but the officiating has been woeful.

Mark: Tell you what, the England team need to come in in suits of armour in the second half because this cynical lot will be after blood following that decision.

The Cameroon players are still on the pitch. They are having some kind of team meeting. Coach Alain Djeumfa is furious.

He's pointing at the camera and gesturing towards the pitch. Is he saying to go and get the players?

This is so, so, so bizarre.
