England and Lyon forward Nikita Parris on facing Norway: "It’s going to be an exciting game. I watched their game against Australia. Australia were brilliant, too. It went to penalties, and it’s 50-50, as is always the way.

“As I was watching the game I was studying either way. Norway play some attacking football and we do, too, so it really will be an exciting spectacle.”

    On Millie Bright starting...

It goes to show that this is Phil Neville's strongest pairing. When it comes to a game like tonight she's probably better suited (than Abbie McManus) to do the job against the centre-forwards that Norway have.

Jill Scott knows her body and she knows when to train and when not to. She is very tall and she puts a lot of strain on her limbs, but that is one thing I admire about her, that she makes good decisions.

That is why we are seeing her win her 141st cap for England. She has been incredibly consistent and that is what managers want.

They're among a growing number of fans mingling outside this seven-year-old stadium.

There seem to be a lot of French fans here as well, some of whom perhaps were anticipating that France would be playing in this tie if they had finished second in Group A.

    Norway v England (20:00 BST)

England goalkeeper Karen Bardsley was full of fighting talk ahead of today's match. She said her team have "never had more belief" and are the most prepared squad in the tournament.

"We are the most resilient team. We have gathered momentum throughout the group stages, experiencing several different tests," she said.

"I don't think we have met our full potential yet and we have a very good chance of doing that. Three or four years ago we were crying out to get to these levels of attention and visibility. When we get here we're not going to back off and say it's a bit nerve-wracking."

When you think Norway have used 10 players in almost every game, there will be moments where that freshness and squad depth will come into play. I think that will make a difference tonight.

This is, mentally and physically, the strongest squad England have ever had. We are not completely reliant on big players and it's exciting.

There has been such a consistency of performance and that proves the depth of the squad.

Fran Kirby must have been pretty exceptional in training because she had a bit of a mare against Cameroon with a lot of misplaced passes. Good luck to the Lionesses tonight, do yourselves and country proud
