I have tried to put myself in their shoes and I wouldn’t want to be answering too many questions about how I'm felling. So I have just been wishing them luck.

But watching them on the screens out there, they all look super relaxed and they will just be waiting for kick off.

    Norway v England (20:00 BST)

Phil Neville has made just one change to the side who beat Cameroon in the last 16.

Captain Steph Houghton and centre-back partner Millie Bright both start despite doubts over their fitness. Right-back Lucy Bronze is also in the starting XI.

Demi Stokes is the only player to come into the side, replacing Manchester United captain Alex Greenwood at left-back.

The England squad have just strolled out on to the turf here at Le Havre's Stade Oceane to get a feel for their surroundings, looking calm, relaxed and focused.

Some of the players are chatting amongst themselves, while a few of them pose for selfie.

Winger Nikita Parris (pictured, right) makes a point of walking quietly on her own to each goal, which I'm told is a regular part of her pre-match routine.

Glastonbury Festival organisers have agreed to show tonight's quarter-final following a Twitter plea from Lionesses midfielder Georgia Stanway.

Stanway tweeted organisers, asking them to show the game so her brother could see it.

"I've got a favour to ask. My brother is there on Thursday, can you screen our quarter-final please?" she asked.

Glastonbury will be screening the match on the West Holts Stage tonight. Let us know if you're there!

They aren't the only ones to show the footie. Showcase Cinemas are also putting it on their screens, free of charge. Excellent stuff.

  6. A dangerous opponent with 'no fear'published at 18:39 British Summer Time 27 June 2019

    Norway v England (20:00 BST)

Norway coach Martin Sjogren told reporters his side were "not scared of England" but they have "a lot of respect" for the Lionesses.

The 1995 champions have improved throughout the tournament and are starting to be considered as dark horses to go all the way.

They finished second in Group B behind hosts France, before overcoming Australia in a tense penalty shootout to reach the quarter-finals.

The Norwegians' only absentee through injury is forward Emilie Bosshard Haavi, who underwent surgery on a torn meniscus in her knee on Tuesday.

Other than that, they have a squad raring to go, full of big names such as new Barcelona signing Caroline Graham Hansen and Chelsea duo Maren Mjelde and Maria Thorisdottir.

  7. Neville unintentionally labelled 'ancient'published at 18:37 British Summer Time 27 June 2019

There was a fairly amusing moment in Norway's pre-match press conference on Wednesday, after an unintentional hiccup in the translation. At major tournaments like this one, Fifa provide a - frequently excellent - translation service for multiple languages.

Norway boss Martin Sjogren was praising Phil Neville respectfully when - as he referred to Neville as somebody who used to be a footballer - the translator said in English: "Phil Neville, an ancient football player".

No offence was intended, but it certainly gave a few of us a chuckle.

  10. 'One of the craziest games'published at 18:31 British Summer Time 27 June 2019

    Norway v England (20:00 BST)

England and Barcelona forward Toni Duggan on the victory over Cameroon: “We’re still a bit tired from it! It was a roller coaster. In a World Cup you expect anything.

"It’s my second World Cup and it was the same the last World Cup; you face different nations, different cultures, people you’re not used to coming up against.

“It was definitely one of the craziest games I’ve been involved in but credit to the girls. We stuck with it. We do a lot of work on staying in games, staying in control.

"We knew that VAR was going to be big in this tournament so we had to work our way round it and stay in control – and every single one of us did that. I think we deserve credit for that.

“There were a couple of times that we did let them in – the back pass, the offside – and our defence need to be switched on."

  12. THAT dramatic victory...published at 18:26 British Summer Time 27 June 2019

    Norway v England (20:00 BST)

If today's game is anything like England's last one, we're in for an eventful night.

That 3-0 victory over Cameroon may have booked England's place in the quarter-finals but that wasn't what everybody was talking about afterwards.

A match full of VAR controversy, drama and emotion ended on a sour note with a late, dangerous tackle on Steph Houghton.

That was one of a number of talking points as the Cameroon players reacted badly to VAR decisions.

    Here's a quick recap...

"we have a medical team who work very well and are prepared for most things. The weather? That we can probably deal with.”

Sy: I don't think Norway is England's biggest test... I thought Japan was as they were quality against Netherlands. If we can overcome them and Cameroon antics we should beat Norway. I predict a 1-3 scoreline. Come on the Lionesses!

Daniel Fine: Think the Lionesses with really need to up their game to get past Norway. Mead, McManus, Stanway in for me, Duggan, Bright, Kirby out (assuming everyone is fit) but in Phil we trust. Come on England.

  16. Impressive Norway beat Australiapublished at 18:19 British Summer Time 27 June 2019

    Norway v England (20:00 BST)

It was one of the best matches of the tournament.

Norway came through a tough test against Australia, ranked sixth in the world, led by in-form goalscorer Sam Kerr to reach the quarter-finals.

A dramatic penalty shootout sealed the deal as Ingrid Systad Engen hit the winning spotkick after Kerr blasted hers over the bar.

It meant Norway reached the quarter-finals for the first time since 2007.

  17. History of the two nationspublished at 18:17 British Summer Time 27 June 2019

    Norway v England (20:00 BST)

These two teams have faced each other twice in the World Cup. Norway won 2-0 in the group stages in 1995 before going on to win the competition.

England got their own back in 2015 though, winning 2-1 in the last 16 on the way to a third-place finish.

The goalscorers that day? Lucy Bronze and Steph Houghton.

The last meeting in any competition between England and Norway was in a friendly in January 2017, with the Norwegians winning 1-0.

  19. 'It's a seamless transition'published at 18:11 British Summer Time 27 June 2019

    Norway v England (20:00 BST)

England boss Phil Neville was relaxed despite doubts over the availability of Millie Bright and Steph Houghton.

"You guys have had an obsession with my rotation for the last 18 months... but it's for moments like this," he told reporters on Wednesday.

"We can bring in two people who know the system and who have utter belief and confidence in each other. It's a seamless transition."

  20. Injury concerns for Englandpublished at 18:08 British Summer Time 27 June 2019

    Norway v England (20:00 BST)

The main talking point ahead of today's match is whether centre-back duo Steph Houghton and Millie Bright are going to be fit enough to start for England.

Houghton was on the receiving end of a bad tackle in stoppage time against Cameroon on Sunday but trained with the squad yesterday.

Phil Neville admitted in his press conference that both players were "doubts", after Bright picked up a sickness bug.

Lucy Bronze also missed a training session this week but it's believed she will be "okay" to start.

Captain Houghton, right-back Bronze and midfielder Jill Scott are the only players to start every game of the tournament so far for England.
