And that's it from Goodison Park.

Everton make it three wins on the bounce, as Arsenal continue to struggle on the road.

And who would've picked Phil Jagielka, only drafted into the starting XI 20 minutes before kick-off, as the match winner?!

All that and more in Matt Bullin's match report for you here.

Meanwhile, Watford and Wolves are currently battling it out for a place in the FA Cup final - you can follow that live here.

  2. 'We lost the balance defensively'published at 16:35 British Summer Time 7 April 2019

    Everton 1-0 Arsenal

    Arsenal

Speaking to Match of the Day, Arsenal boss Unai Emery added: "The two halves were very different. First half we were consistent defensively but didn't create a lot of attacking moments and they scored from a throw-in.

"In the second half we were better offensively but defensively there were more chances for them. We needed a change in the attacking third but I didn't want to lose the balance defensively like we lost it.

"I'm as positive as I was before because I knew the game was going to be difficult."

  4. 'We had to change offensively'published at 16:31 British Summer Time 7 April 2019

    Everton 1-0 Arsenal

    Arsenal

Arsenal manager Unai Emery, speaking to Sky Sports: "In the second half we needed a bit more from the game so I changed some things and we were better offensively.

"We need balance. In the first half we were good defensively but needed more offensively. In the second we were better offensively but not defensively. The match is demanding and the end result, we can't change that.

"We know we needed to be strong and solid, and to be competitive. After the negative result after the first half we changed things defensively and it gave us better options for 45 minutes but we could not find a goal.

"If we scored than it would have changed the match but defensively we conceded more chances than what we were doing first half."

  6. 'We're still in a good position'published at 16:24 British Summer Time 7 April 2019

    Everton 1-0 Arsenal

    Arsenal

Arsenal goalkeeper Brend Leno to Sky Sports: "It was a disappointing result. We played OK but we didn't have many chances to score. We conceded an unlucky goal at the beginning of the game from a throw-in and it was difficult to play against a deep defence.

"The early goal was much better for Everton. If the game stayed 0-0 for longer it would have been much easier for us.

"In the second half, Everton had some chances after transitions, but we have to improve to play against deep defences and create chances, because I think the next game against Watford will be the same."

On why Arsenal's home form is so different to away: "To be honest, I don't know.

"But we're still in a good position and in a good atmosphere. Losing one game is not a problem. We have to keep going, keep working hard and play our style because we're still in a good moment."

  7. 'Fans can be key for us'published at 16:21 British Summer Time 7 April 2019

    Everton 1-0 Arsenal

    Everton

More from Everton boss Marco Silva, on his disagreement with Arsenal manager Unai Emery during the match: "The football is emotional. He wants the best for his team, I want the best for mine. At the end we spoke together and everything is normal."

On the home fans: "They can be the key for us, we have to give them what they expect. I came to a big club like Everton to give our fans what they deserve. It is a matter of keep working to achieve what we want."

  8. Jagielka 'always ready to help team'published at 16:19 British Summer Time 7 April 2019

    Everton 1-0 Arsenal

    Everton

Everton boss Marco Silva, speaking to Match of the Day: "Really, really happy. We deserve the three points. The chances we created, we should score more goals. It is a fantastic win - one more clean sheet.

"That's the spirit I like, the desire to win every challenge. (Earlier in the season) we lost some confidence, we had a break and after we worked really well. It's the same team with more confidence.

"It is fantastic to be solid in this way.

On Phil Jagielka: "He was to start on the bench, but showed how he is a good professional and prepares himself for what the coach and team needs. He is always ready to help the team.

    "He really deserved the goal."

  9. 'It could have been more'published at 16:17 British Summer Time 7 April 2019

    Everton 1-0 Arsenal

    Everton

Everton forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin, speaking to Sky Sports: "We had a few good chances and perhaps if we were more clinical it might have been a few more, but it's the three points that count.

"We set the tempo and towards the end of the first half felt it a little bit. They had large amounts of the ball but we showed quality when we needed to."

  10. 'We are trying to build momentum'published at 16:13 British Summer Time 7 April 2019

    Everton 1-0 Arsenal

    Everton

Everton goalscorer Phil Jagielka, speaking to Sky Sports: "It feels great. Obviously to keep a clean sheet as well. We are trying to build a little bit of momentum. We could have had a few more.

"They are a good team and obviously we beat Chelsea as well."

On his goal: "Right place, right time. They are the best goals. It was nice to come away with the win. (We need to) keep winning games, it is all about momentum until next season."

Everton totally deserve it. They outfought Arsenal and, in the end, but for 15 minutes at the start of the second half, they outplayed the too.

They had so many opportunities and 1-0, they will be mildly disappointed it was only that. You can't tell that with the way the fans are singing though!

Craig Smith: Everton deserve this victory. By far better team and should be up by more than 1. Arsenal away, again lack of energy, creativity and confidence. Completely outmuscled. Giving upcoming fixtures, priority realistically must be Europe.

Liz Tray: As certain as death and taxes - gutless away performances from Spurs and Arsenal on Merseyside.

Imti Jamir: It's been such a poor performance by Arsenal. They are in fact such a strong and talented side but they just can't believe that they can beat a team away on the road.

Joe Mansfield: It is utterly bonkers how Arsenal go to pieces when we go away anywhere with just a bit of atmosphere.
