    Arsenal can't clear.

Shkodran Mustafi gives it straight to Ademola Lookman and the winger drives into the area before winning a corner.

Wrong end of the pitch from Arsenal's point of view.

I think Bernard has been man of the match. His skill's been good, the intelligence of his movement and the intricate one-twos on the left playing with Digne have been great.

But also, his work-rate and defending has been magnificent.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin manages to wipe out both Nacho Monreal and Tom Davies.

    Can Arsenal launch this forward?

  7. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 90 mins

    Everton 1-0 Arsenal

Neat little combination between Idrissa Gueye and Ademola Lookman, but the substitute is offside.

    Another change for the Toffees.

Gylfi Sigurdsson departs wondering how he never scored, with Tom Davies coming on.

Elliott Gilmore: Ozil shows more energy and passion on the bench than when on the field.

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 88 mins

Big cheer for Bernard as he makes way. Ademola Lookman comes on.

No sign of Marco Silva shutting up shop.

Everton are pressing for a second late on in this one.

Kurt Zouma's header is deflected wide, and then he leaps highest to nod another corner over the bar.

It's that pace Everton have been breaking with, Calvert-Lewin has kept it going. They've brought on Walcott and he's not lacking in pace either.

The changes that Marco Silva has made make perfect sense, I've been really impressed with him.

As Arsenal push on, that pace is going to frighten them, but Everton have to take their chances.

    Everton 1-0 Arsenal

Theo Walcott has acres of space to charge into on the right for Everton.

He reaches the edge of the box and dinks a cross to the back post, but Arsenal scramble it behind.

Corner for the hosts. It comes all the way to Walcott at the back stick. His effort is blocked.

    Another corner...

We've just seen a replay of that spat between the dugouts and Mesut Ozil, for some reason, throws his coat at one of the Everton coaches - strange?!

Bensky: I won't be surprised if Walcott comes on and scores against us....would be Annoying.

Everton have defended very well today. Seamus Coleman the latest Toffees player to out-muscle his opposite number as he fends off Alex Iwobi.

A huge cheer goes up around Goodison Park, they enjoyed that one.

  16. YELLOW CARDpublished at 82 mins

Superb work rate from Dominic Calvert-Lewin, he never gives up and keeps the ball in play on the left.

Shkodran Mustafi is late and cleans out the Everton forward. He goes into the book.

Meanwhile Unai Emery is screaming at the Toffees bench on the touchline. Can't have many complaints about that one.

BBC Radio 5 live reporter at Goodison Park

The Arsenal fans in the Bullens Road stand look frustrated. Most of them in the lower tier are bathed in sunshine, but they are not enjoying their afternoon. A number of them applauded when Theo Walcott came on, but they want to see more from their own side.

First chance for Theo Walcott to venture forward as he drives over the half way line and slides a nice pass into Bernard on the left.

Bernard takes a touch into the area and fires a low drive towards goal, but Bernd Leno saves well.

Kyle: Ozil is great when you have a struggling side who go to the Emirates like Newcastle at home on Monday night but in big games away from home he nearly always goes missing. He's unreliable and never influences the bigger matches.

Ashley Harrington: It's like we've never played together before. This has been abysmal.

Jim: Most insepid performance this season, let alone the poor choice of personnel.
