JP: What Hazard did to the three West Ham players in the buildup to the goal should be reviewed by PL as violation of "fair" play. Such voodoo should not be allowed. Poor Ogbonna is still sorting out his feet.

  5. Hazard glided through playerspublished at 20:49 British Summer Time 8 April 2019

    Chelsea 1-0 West Ham

    Robert Huth
Former Leicester defender on Radio 5 live

What a great goal! That's why Eden Hazard is one of the best players. It was almost like he found a little route before he took off then glided through the players. We have seen him do that so many times.

  6. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:47 British Summer Time 8 April 2019

    Chelsea 1-0 West Ham

Eden Hazard's magical strike the difference at the interval.

West Ham will be very happy with that scoreline, they could have been four or five behind.

  7. Pellegrini needs to change shapepublished at 20:46 British Summer Time 8 April 2019

    Chelsea 1-0 West Ham

    Don Hutchison

Chelsea should at least be up by a couple of goals. They have been absolutely brilliant. Manuel Pellegrini is going to have to change the shape at half time. If it carries on like this, Chelsea will rack up two or three more.

One minute added on in the first half. Can West Ham nick one?

What a passage of play that was! Unbelievable passing from Chelsea. That would have been a Barcelona-esque goal from Chelsea.

  10. CLOSE!published at 43 mins

    Chelsea 1-0 West Ham

Chelsea are playing with West Ham now, making a mockery of them.

Callum Hudson-Odoi flicks a pass back to N'Golo Kante on the edge of the box and the Frenchman drifts a cross into the box for Gonzalo Higuain.

The Argentine can head in, but instead chests it down and strikes a volley which is blocked well by Ryan Fredericks.

That was arrowing towards the bottom corner.

  11. CLOSE!published at 42 mins

    Chelsea 1-0 West Ham

Having made the brilliant save, Lukasz Fabianski almost makes a horrible blunder when he comes to punch clear a corner, gets little on it and it bounces on the line, but then can gather at the second attempt.

    Chelsea 1-0 West Ham

That was an incredible ball from Eden Hazard. Eye of the needle stuff. It needed Lukasz Fabianski to palm it over the bar. West Ham got lucky there. The ball could have landed anywhere on the corner.

  13. GREAT SAVE!published at 41 mins

    Chelsea 1-0 West Ham

    Lovely throughball from...guess who?

Yes, Eden Hazard, putting Callum Hudson-Odoi in on goal.

The Englishman beats Angelo Ogbonna, who knows he cannot touch him, and then the rocket of a shot is acrobatically tipped over by Lukasz Fabiasnki.

How do West Ham plan to stop Eden Hazard?

Again, the Belgian trundles away with his big backside, standing a cross up into the box which is gathered by Lukasz Fabianski.

Adam: Those penalty decisions have cost us all season. Best league in the world, worst officials. Foul and yellow anywhere else on the pitch.

David Freedman: Only one goal down makes West Ham look good.

  16. Jorginho gambledpublished at 20:38 British Summer Time 8 April 2019

    Chelsea 1-0 West Ham

I want to see a replay. Jorginho took a huge gamble. It looked like he had a grab of Declan Rice's shirt. Chelsea then had the counter-attack but Mark Noble was back.

Manuel Lanzini swings the corner in, Declan Rice heads it down but it is cleared.

On the next move, Aaron Cresswell's cross is headed away by David Luiz.

West Ham's best passage of the game so far.

  20. CLOSE!published at 35 mins

    Chelsea 1-0 West Ham

West Ham just cannot get to grips with Eden Hazard, the Chelsea forward is really turning it on now.

The Belgium international skips past Ryan Fredericks and plays a cross to the back post for Callum Hudson-Odoi, who shifts it onto his left peg, but the low shot from eight yards out is blocked.
