Newcastle with their tails up now. Liverpool are gaining possession and starting to pass the ball but without really looking like they are going to cause too much damage to Newcastle

Stu - Boro fan, London: Re: Aaron [20:41] - a good point, but surely the answer is to buy young and develop by slowly introducing into the team? Klopp has a track record of improving players significantly so it shouldn't be too much of an issue. What young player wouldn't want to come and learn from this manager and team?

The roof almost came off the Gallowgate when that went in. That was some finish from the big man. For the first time I can remember, Jurgen Klopp has moved away from the edge of his technical area to chat to his coaching staff on the bench. It could have been 3-1 to Liverpool, but now it’s level.

Over half an hour to go for Liverpool to retake the lead. They have won their past seven Premier League games.

But Paul Dummett muscles Mohamed Salah off the ball and lets it out for a goal-kick.

Newcastle - with Ayoze Perez and Salomon Rondon - have had two players score at least 10 goals each in a single Premier League season for the first time since 2011-12 (Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse).

Woof. Brilliant goal by Salomon Rondon and Newcastle are level.

Ki Sung-yueng takes a corner, which Georginio Wijnaldum heads out. It lands to Javier Manquillo, who heads the ball back into the area for Rondon.

The striker lets the ball bounce and then smashes in an absolute thunderbolt past Alisson.

Christian Atsu takes on Dejan Lovren out on the wing, I think we all know the winner here. Atsu speeds past Lovren and his cross is headed out by Andy Robertson.

Sturridge just needed to pass it into the goal, it was strange to go for a such a violent connection. He just needed to guide the ball and it would be 3-1.

Seconds later, Liverpool should put the game to bed. Georginio Wijnaldum has the ball in the box and squares it to Daniel Sturridge, who blazes a shot high and wide from near the penalty spot. Really should have done better.

Aaron: Liverpool do have a problem in the transfer market. It's all well and good saying we need a backup for Firmino, and we do, but no top level talent is going to want to come to a club and not play because who could keep Mane, Salah or Firmino out of the team regularly?
