Odsonne Edouard is having a similar type of afternoon to that of Celtic team-mate Tom Rogic. Another chance is spurned.

Then Kilmarnock goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann, in his best flying wardrobe impression, denies Celtic not one but twice amid a penalty box maelstrom.

What a chance for Kilmarnock! Chris Burke, who has already been thwarted by Scott Bain, is once again denied by the goalkeeper as his 30-yard effort is brilliantly tipped over the bar.

A great shot and an even better save.

Celtic play the ball from left to right, like a cat toying with a ball of wool, before a cross finds the head of Odsonne Edouard but his effort flies over the bar.

Mikael Lustig, who was behind the Frenchman, appeared in a better position to test Bachmann.

Eamonn Brophy engineers space inside the Celtic penalty area but his effort is well saved by Scott Bain when a pass into the box may have been a better option.

Another shooting opportunity for Tom Rogic, again the Australian accepts but his effort is comfortably saved by Daniel Bachmann.

"It's not quick enough and doesn't have the power to trouble Bachmann," booms BBC Sportsound pundit Willie Miller.
