Kilmarnock should be in front at Celtic Park. Three great chances have come and gone for Steve Clarke’s side. The fact they have failed to take any of them must be so frustrating for the visiting manager.

Celtic dominating possession, but the chances have been less clear-cut. Hasn’t quite happened yet for Odsonne Edouard today. The young Frenchman has many attributes, but he’s a different kind of striker from a penalty-box predator like Leigh Griffiths - here watching the match in the stands.

You wonder what might happen with the balls coming in from wide areas if the Scot was there hunting for opportunities.

The home crowd are desperate for a victory on a day when all at Celtic are paying tribute to Billy McNeil. But, for now, that looks far from being a formality.

Tom Rogic will want to banish this first half from his memory. Another chance for the Australian but his shot is more likely to take out a supporter's pie & bovril behind the goal than finding the net.

Celtic can usually rely on Tom Rogic to find the net with cracking drives, but not in the first half. The Australian blazes another shot over the bar.

A shake of the head as he trots back into position. It remains goalless four minutes from the break.

Mikael Lustig, as though saying: "enough of this!", thunders forward but is unable to find the net.

Celtic not lacking in industry but are searching for a piece of magic to unlock Kilmarnock's defence.

I have a weird, and probably correct, feeling that Celtic won't be scoring five today. Killie have been good in a depleted defence and have created some great chances at the other end. Celtic very deliberate, quite ponderous, nowhere near enough zip...

Again, Celtic come forward in search of the opening goal but are lacking a cutting edge in the final third. Odsonne Edouard and James Forrest have been unable to find the opener.

Another glorious opportunity for the visitors. Celtic defender Kristoffer Ajer coughs up possession and Eamonn Brophy is onto the ball in a flash.

However, he fails to show Ajer a clean pair of heels, allowing the defender to get back and atone for his error with a sliding challenge.

Back come Celtic, Mikael Lustig gallops forward and feeds Odsonne Edouard, but neither he, nor Scott Sinclair, can get an effort on target.

It remains goalless but for how much longer?
