We're back under way at Celtic Park.

  2. Kilmarnock with the better chancespublished at 13:30 British Summer Time 27 April 2019

    HT: Celtic 0-0 Kilmarnock

Kilmarnock should be in front at Celtic Park. Three great chances have come and gone for Steve Clarke’s side. The fact they have failed to take any of them must be so frustrating for the visiting manager.

Celtic dominating possession, but the chances have been less clear-cut. Hasn’t quite happened yet for Odsonne Edouard today. The young Frenchman has many attributes, but he’s a different kind of striker from a penalty-box predator like Leigh Griffiths - here watching the match in the stands.

You wonder what might happen with the balls coming in from wide areas if the Scot was there hunting for opportunities.

The home crowd are desperate for a victory on a day when all at Celtic are paying tribute to Billy McNeil. But, for now, that looks far from being a formality.

Peter McCarter: I think this is one reason Neil Lennon won’t get the full time job at Celtic! He will get Celtic to the title but they will pretty much have limped over the line in many regards.

  6. HALF-TIME Celtic 0-0 Kilmarnockpublished at 13:18

  7. Shot Down Underpublished at 44 mins

    Celtic 0-0 Kilmarnock

Tom Rogic will want to banish this first half from his memory. Another chance for the Australian but his shot is more likely to take out a supporter's pie & bovril behind the goal than finding the net.

  8. Celtic 'not good enough'published at 13:16

    Celtic 0-0 Kilmarnock

    Willie Miller
Former Scotland defender on BBC Radio Scotland

    Quote Message

I don't think it has been good enough for Celtic. It has been to slow in the build-up and Kilmarnock have had a few chances - one amazing one for Chris Burke

  9. Rogic profligatepublished at 41 mins

    Celtic 0-0 Kilmarnock

Celtic can usually rely on Tom Rogic to find the net with cracking drives, but not in the first half. The Australian blazes another shot over the bar.

A shake of the head as he trots back into position. It remains goalless four minutes from the break.

  10. Celtic huffing & puffingpublished at 39 mins

    Celtic 0-0 Kilmarnock

Mikael Lustig, as though saying: "enough of this!", thunders forward but is unable to find the net.

Celtic not lacking in industry but are searching for a piece of magic to unlock Kilmarnock's defence.

  11. Celtic lacking 'zip'published at 13:09

    Celtic 0-0 Kilmarnock

    Tom English
BBC Scotland's chief sports writer at Celtic Park

I have a weird, and probably correct, feeling that Celtic won't be scoring five today. Killie have been good in a depleted defence and have created some great chances at the other end. Celtic very deliberate, quite ponderous, nowhere near enough zip...

  12. Celtic lacking sharpnesspublished at 34 mins

    Celtic 0-0 Kilmarnock

Again, Celtic come forward in search of the opening goal but are lacking a cutting edge in the final third. Odsonne Edouard and James Forrest have been unable to find the opener.

  14. 'Warning' for Celticpublished at 13:01

    Celtic 0-0 Kilmarnock

    Willie Miller
Former Scotland defender on BBC Radio Scotland

    Quote Message

That's another warning for Celtic. That's three good chances Kilmarnock have had and three good saves from Scott Bain

  15. CLOSE!published at 27 mins

    Celtic 0-0 Kilmarnock

Another glorious opportunity for the visitors. Celtic defender Kristoffer Ajer coughs up possession and Eamonn Brophy is onto the ball in a flash.

However, he fails to show Ajer a clean pair of heels, allowing the defender to get back and atone for his error with a sliding challenge.

  16. CLOSE!published at 24 mins

    Celtic 0-0 Kilmarnock

Back come Celtic, Mikael Lustig gallops forward and feeds Odsonne Edouard, but neither he, nor Scott Sinclair, can get an effort on target.

It remains goalless but for how much longer?

  18. 'Marvellous save'published at 12:54

    Celtic 0-0 Kilmarnock

    Pat Bonner
Former Celtic goalkeeper on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

Chris Burke really should have scored. I think he tried to give the goalkeeper the eyes, but Scott Bain again comes up with a marvellous save. How many times does he come up with the big saves?

  19. Emboldened Killiepublished at 20 mins

    Celtic 0-0 Kilmarnock

The visitors are growing in confidence in the Glasgow sunshine. Millar's fierce drive is tipped away by Bain.

Kilmarnock have weathered the early Celtic blizzard and are beginning to bare their teeth.

  20. GREAT SAVE!published at 17 mins

    Celtic 0-0 Kilmarnock

Kilmarnock should be in front. Winger Chris Burke does well to profit from a bounce inside the box, but instead of steering an effort beyond Scott Bain he sends his shot straight down the goalkeeper's throat.

"It's a sitter," roars BBC Sportsound pundit Willie Miller.

    You're not wrong, Willie...
