Watford have gone from strength to strength this season. They've found a team which has given them foundations and that they can build on now.

It's sad for them that it ends this way but they've had a fine season.

Is this the final act in a CIty shirt for Vincent Kompany?

I'm sure he'll do one more season at least. But it wouldn't be the worst way to bow out. He leads his side up to collect the trophy from Prince William.

What next for Manchester City? They need a left-back, a midfielder to replace Fernandinho at some point, a centre-back to replace Vincent Kompany at some point and to win the Champions League.

But they've just won the FA Cup final 6-0 without even asking Sergio Aguero to warm up and they've won back-to-back Premier Leagues with a combined points haul of 198.

    Not too bad...

Manchester City midfielder Kevin de Bruyne speaking to BBC: "This week was more relaxed. The first half was a little bit edgy but obviously with the 2-0 advantage, in the second half we played great, scored four goals and had more chances. What a great way to end the season.

"It feels like an honour. After the Tottenham injury, mentally I was done. But after a couple of days I really wanted to be back with the team to win the title."

City are an unbelievable team. I don't begrudge City at all. Those fans know bad times. They have been through the lower divisions. It has come full circle for them - the success and the manager of course. It is brilliant to watch. I feel for Watford because they have come up against the best.
