A total of 736 teams entered this season's FA Cup, which started way back in August with 184 fixtures in the extra preliminary round.

Brackley Town Saints' 1-0 win over London Colney attracted a crowd of 31.

    Today's final is a 90,000 sell-out.

Dan Walker is joined by Roberto Martinez, who masterminded Wigan's incredible 2013 FA Cup final win over Manchester City, Alex Scott, a seven-time Women's FA Cup winner, and chart-topping musician Lewis Capaldi.

John Barnes, who played in Watford's 2-0 defeat by Everton in the 1984 FA Cup final, will also be appearing on along with ex-Hornets striker Luther Blissett and former Manchester City player Shaun Wright-Phillips, who won the FA Cup with Chelsea in 2007.

It may be arguably the biggest game in the club's history since Duran Duran were at number one in the charts but there doesn't seem to be any big-day tension in the Watford camp.

Manager Javi Gracia and goalkeeper Ben Foster have been happily mingling with fans of both clubs in their hotel restaurant - which overlooks the famous stadium. No chance of the Hornets being stuck in traffic today.

Speaking of Rosto, here's his thoughts from Wembley, accompanied by a somewhat 'youthful' contributor photo...

I asked him how old it was. He just said, "years!" Very vague.

You're now locked in with me for the next few hours (sorry!) as I'll be building up to this evening's match before Tom Rostance takes over from Wembley. He always gets the jazzy jobs...

As always, I want to hear from you. Send your Wembley pics, car selfies and any thoughts you have while travelling to today's final.

And if you're one of those people who organised a BBQ to host it and are now regretting it, let me know!

  6. FA Cup final day!published at 12:59 British Summer Time 18 May 2019

Man City v Watford (17:00 BST)

IT'S FINALLY HERE! It's FA Cup final day at Wembley.

Manchester City are aiming to become the first men's team to win the domestic treble in England.

It's only a week on from their Premier League title success. Can they finish the season on an even greater high?

For Watford, this is a historic day. They have a chance to lift the FA Cup for the first time in only their second final - their last was in 1984.

Arguably the greatest Premier League team stands in their way. But can they do it?
