Tim: Probably sounds a bit daft, but I genuinely think it's a sign of respect that teams keep going and score a bundle. They're not taking their foot off the gas, they're not patronising, they're just playing their best.

    Manchester City 6-0 Watford

I gave you a duff stat a little earlier on - Raheem Sterling is the fourth player to score a hat-trick in an FA Cup final, after William Townley for Blackburn in 1890, Jimmy Logan for Notts County in 1894 and Stan Mortensen for Blackpool in 1953.

Still a hell of an effort.

Wonderwall is pumped out of the speakers, Manchester City have won their first FA Cup since 2011 and their sixth in total.

They have won the domestic treble. Unprecedented in the men's game in England.

    Fairly standard for Pep.

Not a Watford fan but the decision to include Gomes seems a bit odd. Even before the first goal he looked clumsy and trying too hard to impress.

    Raheem Sterling HAT-TRICK

The first FA Cup final hat-trick since 1953! Raheem Sterling has done it.

It's probably the best save of the day from Heurelho Gomes as he tips a Sterling shot onto the inside of the post, but it falls back at the feet of the number seven, and he sweeps it home.

Great support, you have to say. The Watford fans start waving their flags in appreciation of their now battered side, and the gesture is roundly applauded by the City fans.

    Raheem Sterling

What a season he's had! Raheem Sterling with what is now a trademark finish, arriving late at the far post to sweep in from close range after more mesmeric work from Bernardo Silva.

What a player he is. Could Heurelho Gomes have done better there? Clutching at the thinnest of straws.
