I'm supposed to be marking Year 12 mocks but just too excited for the final day. The title race is closer than my students are to the grade boundaries...

    Luke, Wimbledon

Have a maths exam tomorrow so sadly can't watch the games, but I'll have Final Score on in the background while revising in my uni library - I don't want to miss a single minute of the end of the best title race in my lifetime!

Best of luck to Bruno - a right-back three years older than me and likely to be chasing Raheem Sterling or Leroy Sane around the park this afternoon.

Kevin de Bruyne could be involved in Manchester City's title decider after recovering from a hamstring injury.

Fernandinho remains out with a knee problem and is doubtful for the FA Cup final, while Benjamin Mendy and Claudio Bravo are also still sidelined.

Brighton's only absentees are Davy Propper and Jose Izquierdo, who are out with respective hamstring and knee problems.

Captain Bruno is set for his final game before retiring from playing.

Watford v West Ham (15:00 BST)

    West Ham United
David Blackmore, Blowing Bubbles Monthly Magazine

I've enjoyed watching West Ham this season - that's the first time I've been able to say this for a few years!

We’ve been wonderfully inconsistent. I say wonderful in the sense that at times we’ve been absolutely brilliant when you haven’t expected us to be. But then at other times, it’s been laughable to see how the side that comfortably beat Arsenal could then record resounding defeats against sides around or below us in the weeks after!

Player of the season: Lukasz Fabianski. He has been absolutely fantastic for us this season. His saves have not only kept us in games but I believe he's been worth 12-15 points for us over the duration of the campaign.

There'll be a fair few players playing their final game in the Premier League this afternoon. A manager or two, too?

Brighton v Man City (15:00 BST)

    Brighton & Hove Albion
    Scott McCarthy, WeAreBrighton.com

Signing of the season: We spent £50m last summer but only one of those players has become a first-team regular, so it has to be Bernardo whose strengthened our already pretty solid defence.

Goal of the Season: Anthony Knockaert bending the ball from 25 yards into the stanchion at Selhurst Park was unbelievable. You won't see many better goals than that full stop, but to win a game away against our arch rivals made it doubly special.

Disappointment of the season: Alireza Jahanbakhsh. A club record £17m on a forward who hasn't contributed a single goal or assist all season. Let's just hope those shirt sales in Iran were worth it.

Mark for manager (out of 10): 8 up until Christmas. 2 from when he changed to a 4-3-3 formation and stuck with it for four months despite it being obvious to everyone apart from him that it didn't work. So a 5/10 overall.

Mark for season (out of 10): 7. Targets achieved, but must do better in terms of recruitment and tactics if we are to survive next season.

    Leicester v Chelsea (15:00 BST)

    Leicester City
Chris Forryan, Leicester Till I Die

Well as seasons go, this will be one we really want to forget. The loss of our chairman, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, in the tragic helicopter crash, puts everything into prospective. However the way the footballing nation came together to share our grief is a memory I will never forget. Bitter and so called hated rivals posting condolences on the Leicestertillidie.com page makes you remember that football is only a game.

The other, ugly, side of football showed its ugly head in the social media comments from so-called Celtic football fans when we signed Brendan Rodgers following the sacking of Claude Puel. A man given the task of rebuilding an aging Premier League-winning team found that try as you might to build a bright new future with young and gifted players was not going to win over the fans when the current team's foundations for that future were crumbling.

Player of the season: Ricardo Pereira

Signing of the season: James Maddison

Goal of the season: Christian Fuchs v Fleetwood Town, League Cup

Disappointment of the season: Kelechi Iheanacho

Mark for manager (out of 10): 3 for Puel, 9 for Rodgers

Mark for season (out of 10): 5, a mixed and emotional season

Tottenham pair Juan Foyth and Son Heung-min begin three-match domestic bans, with a club appeal against the Korean's red card rejected by the FA.

Jan Vertonghen misses out with an ankle injury, while Danny Rose and Victor Wanyama are doubts because of respective hamstring and thigh issues.

Everton forward Richarlison is unavailable because of a rib injury, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin is also out.

Andre Gomes is back after a ban but Seamus Coleman is a fitness concern.

The more I think about Lee's claims that he booked a holiday three years ago, the more it might end up being my takeaway point from this final day of the season.

'Remember when Liverpool beat City to the title?'

'Oh yeah - wasn't that the day a guy made up a holiday?'

You couldn't get a flight, book the time off work...

    Nonsense surely!

    Tottenham v Everton (15:00 BST)

    Jonathan Pearce
    Match of the Day commentator

I was lucky enough to commentate on Lucas Moura's December goal in Barcelona. It kept Tottenham in the Champions League. Who could have foreseen then the drama of the Etihad or Amsterdam? Wonderful!

The memory that will stay with me forever? Mauricio Pochettino sinking to his knees in tears.

"Those who do not weep, do not see," wrote Victor Hugo. Pochettino had the vision all along.

Former Tottenham goalkeeper Brad Friedel knows football. He told me within weeks of Mauricio arriving at Spurs that he would completely transform the club. He has.

But there is immediate work to be done. A point is needed to make sure of a top-four place. That's crucial. And wouldn't in-form Everton love to end their season beating a Champions League finalist.

Unsurprisingly - although we will still get tweets saying 'you do know there are EIGHT other games on today don't you?' - we will be largely focussing on the events at Brighton and at Anfield as this humdinger of a title race comes to a conclusion.

But, we shall also of course bring you all of the goals and key incidents elsewhere. A huge relief to the millions tuning in for Palace v Bournemouth.

  13. 'Goal-laden finale on the cards'published at 12:14 British Summer Time 12 May 2019

Watford v West Ham (15:00 BST)

    Robyn Cowen
    BBC Sport

They may have eyes on Wembley but Watford do have an incentive in their final league game of the campaign - a point against West Ham would secure a top-half finish for the first time in the top flight for over 30 years.

The Hammers are finishing a solid first season under Manuel Pellegrini strongly with back-to-back victories - another would make sure they pip Watford to at least 10th place.

A mid-table encounter perhaps, but with just seven clean sheets apiece in the Premier League this season, hopefully a goal-laden finale is on the cards at Vicarage Road.

Ian: 7am in St Lucia, time for a game of tennis, then settle in the pool bar (no pun intended) with both the city and LFC games on the screens. Come on you Reds, come on you Seagulls.

Lee: I'm a Liverpool fan having to watch the game in Costa Del Sol alone while the wife is with our baby as we booked a holiday 3 years ago as a wedding present.....

    Fulham v Newcastle (15:00 BST)

    Fulham
    Sammy James, Fulhamish Podcast

Sometimes your team exceeds all expectations, and sometimes they fall very short of them.

After a promotion and summer spending spree that had Fulham fans dreaming of a stellar season, it's hard to accept that we only managed a paltry 26 points (a third of which were accrued once relegation was confirmed).

Whilst there are lots of factors as to why it all went wrong, there are two that stand out. Not recruiting well enough in defence, and opting to hire Claudio Ranieri. The Italian may be a god in Leicester, but his style and approach was a disaster at Fulham.

Player of the season: Calum Chambers

Signing of the season: Ryan Babel

Goal of the season: Andre Schürrle vs Burnley (A)

Disappointment of the season: Huddersfield 1-0 Fulham: the moment we knew we were in BIG trouble

Mark for manager (out of 10): Jokanovic: 4/10, Ranieri: 1/10, Parker: 7/10

As Matt rightfully says, it's been an absolutely superb, if crazy, week of English football.

This time last week I would have said that there was no chance of Manchester City slipping up.

Now, I wouldn't be surprised if they were 3-0 up and Brighton came back to draw...
