Brighton v Manchester City (15:00 BST)
Manchester City
Nigel Rothband, The Man City Show Podcast
With just two games to go, to be two wins away from an unprecedented domestic treble means it’s been a fabulous season for the Citizens. In addition, back to back Premier League titles and four league titles in eight years would confirm this team as one of the greatest in Premier League history. Fine margins meant a quarter final exit from the Champions League.
Player of the Season: It’s a toss up between Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva. Sterling continues to improve under Pep and has been involved in so many important goals this season. He has also shown great maturity off the pitch in the way he has handled the racial abuse he has had to endure. After a less than impressive first season, Silva has been outstanding this year. He never stops running, is fantastic on the ball and wins my vote....just.
Signing of the Season: Riyad Mahrez was our only significant signing this season and he has struggled to cement a permanent place in the side and as a result has had limited opportunities to impress.
Goal of the Season: Captain Vincent Kompany’s outstanding strike from 29 yards to win the game against Leicester City earlier this week.
Disappointment of the Season: The three league losses in December and Aguero’s & Mahrez‘s missed penalties against Spurs and Liverpool respectively.
Mark out of 10 for Manager: Whether we win just the one trophy that’s already in the cabinet, or two or even the unprecedented domestic treble it has to be 9 out of 10 for the style of football City continue to play.
Mark out of 10 for season: Once this season is finally over we may well do even better than last year’s record breaking season and that’s without, for the majority of the campaign, arguably our best player and without a recognised left back. 10 out of 10 if we win the treble. 9 out of 10 if we don’t.

Classic.
Former Arsenal and Manchester United striker Robin van Persie plays his final game today as he retires from football after Feyenoord's game with Den Haag.
What a player he was!
Elsewhere Brighton captain Bruno will play his last game as a professional.
Can imagine the likes of Sterling, Silva and Sane will be rubbing their hands together at the chance to run at the 38-year-old.

Parker: Haven’t been able to sleep because I’m too nervous. C’mon Reds! Sitting in a small Texas town watching A-league and infomercials until we kick off.
Kevin: Alarm set for midnight (Melbourne), going to bed soon. Hoping Man City can get it done again, hoping for a flurry of early goals to settle the nerves what an unreal season. I was in the background on the famous photo of that Aguero strike!
Enjoy your three hour nap Kevin, see you when you wake up.

Matt I think pictures of dogs are always welcome - no matter the context
Jake
How about dogs in a City/Liverpool shirt? Any football supporting pet would be welcome.
Can you name the starting XIs of Manchester City and Manchester United when the Premier League title went down to the final day in 2012?

Waqas: Going to watch it from a remote town in Pakistan. This title race has been ridiculous. Fingers crossed for a liverpool win all the way. Nervous times.. sweaty palms..
Mike: Midnight kick off in Brisbane, Australia. Come on you Reds. Come on you Seagulls.
Get in touch and let us know your thoughts on the final day and where you will be watching the action. (Pictures of exotic destinations, dogs etc all welcome)
In the race for the Golden Glove, Alisson and Ederson are locked on 20 clean sheets each.
According to the Premier League, if the Brazilian pair end the season with the same number of clean sheets, the award will be shared.
This is only the second season where more than one goalkeeper has kept 20 clean sheets.
It last happened 10 years ago, when Edwin van der Sar had 21 clean sheets for Manchester United and Pepe Reina kept 20 for Liverpool.
Just a reminder that last year's winner was...David de Gea with 18 clean sheets.
This season, United have had...seven.
I wonder what Mohamed Salah's agent wants for his birthday....

Bren: Watching the Man City game live at midnight on the Gold Coast in Queensland .... I was at the Etihad for the 93:20 Aguerooooo game .... don't need that again!
Sam: Three Leicester fans on holiday in Turkey desperately trying to find a sports bar to watch the closing day of the second most crazy season in recent times.
Dave: Just departing on flight to New York. Please please let Liverpool be champions when I turn my phone back on in about 8 hours!
Liverpool v Wolves (15:00 BST)
Jermaine Jenas
Former Tottenham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live
Liverpool have had an unbelievable, sensational season. It’ll be the hardest one [title loss] to take.
There have been great title races where it’s gone all the way. But to get 97 points and not win the league, that will never be forgotten.
We’ll all remember that Liverpool have lost one game and possibly not won the league. That defeat was against City at the Etihad. It’s not like previous seasons where they got beaten by teams in the lower part of the table.

Ose: Guardiola will never let his players rest on their laurels...Man City will scale this one last hurdle Brighton 0-3 Man City.
Tim: It's the 97th minute, Ederson with the goal kick, what a delightful first touch by Bernardo Silva, he plays a beautiful ball out wide for Sterling, first time cross.... Aguerooooooooooooooooooooooooooo - I can't believe what I've just seen! Brighton 1 Man City 1
There are a few other trophies up for grabs.
Starting with the Golden Boot.
Salah has the chance to win it for a second year in a row, or can Aguero boost his goal tally against Brighton?
How about Jamie Vardy, who is on 18 goals, though he would need a sackful against Chelsea.
With City down on the south coast and Liverpool at home, where will the Premier League trophy be?
The days of a helicopter being on standby to fly it from one end of the country seem to be over.
The simple answer is there will be two trophies today, according to the Telegraph., external
The 'Champions' trophy has been at City all season, so that will be taken to Brighton, while the 'other' trophy will be at Anfield.
There will be also be identical medals at both grounds.

Abas: One eye on the bbc live commentary and another one on my revision for my university exam on Tuesday, priorities.
Mundu: Pep and Klopp have done amazing jobs this season. Today is for the players to go out and give the best they can. Title, golden boot, glove are there for grab. What a season.
Zubair: Whatever happens today, it has been a season to remember for Liverpool fans.
This is the eighth Premier League title race to go down to the final day.
On all seven previous occasions that the Premier League title has gone down to the final day, the team who started the day top have won it.
The closest Premier League title race ever saw Manchester City beat Manchester United on goal difference in 2012. That remains the only time the lead has changed hands in the 'as it stands' table on the last day.
Sergio Aguero's injury-time winner against QPR denied United the chance to be the first team to start the day second and win the Premier League.
Only once have the second-placed team blown the chance to win the Premier League on the final day. In 1995 Blackburn lost 2-1 to Liverpool at Anfield but still won the title.
Manchester United would have won the league had they beaten West Ham, but they drew 1-1.
The last team to start the final day of the English top flight at the top of the table and not win the title were Liverpool in 1989, when Michael Thomas' dramatic injury-time goal gave Arsenal the 2-0 win they needed at Anfield to secure the old First Division title.

Been sick with nerves all week but if nothing else, at least by the end of the day I'll no longer have to read stories about how X team are gonna give City a good game because their left back's second cousin is a Liverpool fan
Dan, City fan
We're about an hour away from Brighton. None of us taking anything for granted. We remember 2012 all too well. Come on City!
Nick, Manchester
I'll be watching it in The Westbourne in Bournemouth with Alan from Wythenshawe, Steve from Blackley, Pauline from Oldham and Terry from Droylsden.
Gareth (originally from Sale), Bournemouth.
