There really is nothing between them is there. I thought Sunderland were going to change things when they brought Will Grigg on, but its been much the same from them.

Four minutes of time added on.

  5. Postpublished at 87 mins

    Charlton 1-1 Sunderland

This second half has really not got going at all.

Understandably both sets of players are very keenly aware that a mistake will cost them big time here.

    Three minutes to go.

Another 30 minutes awaits the 76,000 plus inside Wembley.

Sunderland midfielder Grant Leadbitter kicks Jonny Williams for the second time in five minutes and this time he gets booked for his troubles.

  8. Postpublished at 81 mins

    Charlton 1-1 Sunderland

Sunderland left-back Bryan Oviedo drifts in but his right footed effort from outside the area is very much a swinger with his weaker foot.

Charlton goalkeeper Dillon Phillips fields it easily.

Heading into the final 10 minutes now.

Will we have a late winner or are we set for extra-time for a second day running at Wembley?

  10. Postpublished at 75 mins

    Charlton 1-1 Sunderland

Charlton midfielder Josh Cullen sends a dangerous free-kick into the area.

Krystian Bielik wins the ball but suffers a heavily fall in the process. He's ok to carry on though.

    Charlton in the ascendancy.

  11. 'Extra-time looming'published at 74 mins

    Charlton 1 - 1 Sunderland

    BBC Sport at Wembley

There has not been much in the game so far in the second period, and Sunderland did well to survive a few minutes down to 10 men while Luke O’Nien was receiving treatment.

Neither side has found much quality or creativity in the final third since the restart, but just one moment could win it heading into the final 15 minutes. Otherwise, extra-time will begin to loom larger.

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 73 mins

    Charlton 1-1 Sunderland

Charlton sub Jonny Williams is taken out by Luke O'Nien.

The Wales international has looked really lively since he came on.

  13. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 72 mins

    Charlton 1-1 Sunderland

Sunderland bring on winger Aiden McGeady for striker Charlie Wyke.

Wyke has worked hard for the Black Cats but just hasn't been able to have a real impact on the game.

Ben McSkelly: What happened to concussion protocol? Sunderland player bleeding and staggering wildly on his feet.

Dan Ellingworth: The way O'Nien was staggering around after that clash of heads, there is no way he should be back on the pitch

The medics seemed to clear the Sunderland man to come back on, so I'd hope all the correct checks were in place.

  15. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 70 mins

    Charlton 1-1 Sunderland

Charlton bring on former Sunderland loanee Jonny Williams for Darren Pratley.

    Twenty minutes to go.

  16. Postpublished at 66 mins

    Charlton 1-1 Sunderland

Sunderland win a corner that Grant Leadbitter sends into the near post.

It beats all the runners there and hits Black Cats defender Tom Flanagan and goes out for a goal kick.

This half has not matched up to the excitement of the first. So far.

  17. YELLOW CARDpublished at 64 mins

    Charlton 1-1 Sunderland

Sunderland defender Luke O'Nien is now back with us, wearing a black bandage that goes well with his kit.

Black Cats striker Will Grigg is in the book for tripping Ben Purrington. Looked harsh to me.

Sunderland's Luke O'Nien has gone to have stitches put in a wound from the clash of heads so they're down to 10 men temporarily.

  19. Postpublished at 60 mins

    Charlton 1-1 Sunderland

We're going to have a stoppage here as Sunderland's Luke O'Nien and Charlton's Darren Pratley need some attention after a horrible clash of heads.

No malice from either player and it looks like both will carry on.

Sunderland make their second change as Chris Maguire, whose goal against Portsmouth sent the Black Cats to Wembley, is off for striker Will Grigg.

Maguire has not really had much of an impact on proceedings today it has to be said.
