    Bournemouth 0-0 Sheffield Utd

John Fleck takes Sheffield United's first corner of the game but it comes to nothing.

John Lundstram is following up on the edge of the area but his long range strike dribbles harmlessly wide of the right post.

Jose Holebas' free-kick almost curls all the way into the top left corner but Brighton keeper Mat Ryan claws it away for a corner.

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Everton

It's so windy at Selhurst Park. Reminds me of Sunday mornings at Knebworth Rec as a kid... the ball is swirling around every time it leaves the floor. How's your touch?

And that's a first real chance for Crystal Palace!

Max Meyer cuts on to his right foot and watches his effort deflect over the bar off a diving Seamus Coleman. Best move of the match so far for Roy Hodgson's side.

    Watford 0-1 Brighton

Gerard Deulofeu loses possession near the halfway line with an air swipe and Brighton can break.

They are three on two but Martin Montoya delays the pass and Watford's defence track back in the nice of time.

Fair play to Deulofeu too, he sprinted back the second he lost the ball.

Max Meyer hauls down Richarlison and finds himself in the book. The Brazilian wasn't best pleased, don't think the Palace forward will be making his Christmas card list this year...

  8. CLOSE!published at 15:36 British Summer Time 10 August 2019

    Watford 0-1 Brighton

Etienne Capoue plays a lovely diagonal ball over to Kiko Femenia on the right side of the box.

The Watford man hits it first time back across goal and it catches the Brighton defence off guard. Mat Ryan's save bounces dangerously off Lewis Dunk's thigh and rolls out for a corner, just missing the post...

    Burnley 0-0 Southampton

Southampton have had five shots so far, with four of those coming from outside the box.

That deep Burnley defensive line working well.

    Bournemouth 0-0 Sheffield Utd

Not a bad performance from newly-promoted Sheffield United but it's a pretty tame affair at Dean Court.

There average positions below don't give too much away and both keepers have been called into action. No clear-cut chance since David McGoldrick's after 30 seconds.

  12. CLOSE!published at 15:33 British Summer Time 10 August 2019

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Everton

    Double chance for the Toffees!

First Seamus Coleman is denied at the front post after lashing a loose ball on target from a tight angle and then Dominic Calvert-Lewin watches his header drift wide from a whipping cross.

A frantic 30 seconds at Selhurst Park, and Everton are on top.

    Watford 0-1 Brighton

Pascal Gross' crosses are causing problems for Watford. Glenn Murray is the target again but this time Ben Foster just about clings onto it.

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Everton

Mix up between Bernard and Lucas Digne as an Everton attack fizzles out.

The Brazilian thinks his left-back is overlapping, the Frenchman is caught on his heels... the ball trickles out of play and Marco Silva shakes his arms in frustration.

High tackle from Che Adams. Could be in trouble here...

The new Southampton signing survives. No red card. Looked like an accident but did seem a tad high from the striker.

    Nightmare.

Watford's Abdoulaye Doucoure ends up diverting the ball into his own net after Pascal Gross had fired it in from the right.

Glenn Murray was waiting to take it in so Doucoure had to get something on it. He holds his hands up to his face.

  18. Postpublished at 15:28 British Summer Time 10 August 2019

    Watford 0-0 Brighton

Solly March, to Davy Propper, to Pascal Gross and to Glenn Murray on the right...

Waste. The Brighton striker clips it wide of the keeper's right post and it's too high for any of his teammates in the box.

  19. CLOSE!published at 15:27 British Summer Time 10 August 2019

    Burnley 0-0 Southampton

Johann Berg Gudmundsson goes close for the hosts, whipping one narrowly wide from just outside the box. This is Burnley's best spell of the match so far, a good few minutes for the Clarets.

  20. Postpublished at 15:26 British Summer Time 10 August 2019

    Bournemouth 0-0 Sheffield Utd

Philip Billing, who has joined Bournemouth from Huddersfield this summer, is set up to shoot from distance.

He has a big run up and ends up blasting it waaaaay wide and over. Not one for the highlights reel.
