Aberdeen 1-2 Hearts
Hickey has been shown a second yellow card after a late challenge on McGinn. Hearts down to 10 men with 10 minutes left of the game.
Jamie Walker
Jamie Walker latches on to a wonderful through ball and the attacking midfielder toes the ball beyond Joe Lewis and runs off in celebration as the ball bounces off the post and rolls over the line.
Aberdeen 1-1 Hearts
Conor Washington runs through on goal from a lofted through ball, only to cut inside and fire a shot towards the Aberdeen goal. His shot is just wide of the post but it skims the net on its way out. Very close.
Aberdeen 1-0 Hearts
Niall McGinn has come on for James Wilson.
Steven Naismith
Steven Naismith makes an immediate impression at Pittodrie after Craig Halkett knocked on the long throw towards the forward, allowing him to header the ball in to the back of the net at the front post.
Aberdeen 1-0 Hearts
Steven Naismith finally makes his entrance, coming on for Jake Mulraney. But can the new(ish) signing make a difference in the final 25 minutes.
Conor Washington also comes on for Andy Irving to add even more firepower up front.

Quote MessageI think Craig Levein will be thinking about changes. The tempo of Hearts' play has dropped a little bit as well. He's got players on yellow cards too so there's a lot to consider.
Aberdeen 1-0 Hearts
Ryan Hedges is coming on for Aberdeen. Derek McInnes has decided to bring the midfielder on for Scott Wright.

Quote MessageI've seen most of Hearts' game so far this season and whenever he's played he's been one of the better players. The fans have taken to him straight away, and that's always a good thing at a new club, and bigger club.
Aberdeen 1-0 Hearts
We're now on yellow card number seven. This time it's Aberdeen midfielder Funso Ojo for a late slide tackle.
Aberdeen 1-0 Hearts
A corner is swung in by Wilson and Leigh tries to get to it at the front post before Cosgrove then attempts to tap it home at the back. Neither can get on the end of it but worryingly for Hearts neither were under any pressure from their markers.

Quote MessageThe fans are loving it. Yes they're pointing the finger at Hearts and saying they've been physical, but Aberdeen have to stand up to that and I think they have. It's a very close game. You've all these bookings too so they've got to walk a tight rope. Everything to play for in this half, and could go either way but first half was shaded by Aberdeen.
Aberdeen 1-0 Hearts
We begin the second half as we ended the first. Lewis Ferguson gets a yellow card for leading with his elbow in an aerial challenge with Aaron hickey. The sixth yellow card of the game.

Quote MessageI don't think in general open play there's been much between the teams. Aberdeen dominated for a spell after the goal but when you look at both of their chances, both Hearts' came from set plays and Aberdeen's from the goal and a well worked corner. So pretty much all coming from set pieces
Aberdeen 1-0 Hearts
And we're back underway at Pittodrie!
No changes from either side despite four players walking back on to the pitch with yellow card bookings.

Quote MessageVery competitive, which is great. It's been a very interesting game of football. I think Aberdeen have just edged it but full marks for Hearts as they've come back from that body-blow, that goal from Sam Cosgrove. it's all to play for as they're concerned. And Aberdeen as well, I think they'll create some more chances as it's been a little bit barren since that goal.
Kilmarnock 1-2 Rangers
Speaking to Sky Sports after today's 2-1 win at Rugby Park, Rangers midfielder Steven Davis said: "It's a massive win as we know how important a good start is.
"We showed a good reaction (to losing goal) to go on and get the win. We might not have come away with three points last season."
And Connor Goldson, who scored the winner, added: "It's amazing - we knew we had to start with a win and again we lose a late goal. We're delighted to get the win."
Kilmarnock 1-2 Rangers
Rangers manager Steven Gerrard was pleased to be on the right side of a late goal at Rugby Park, having this week bemoaned his side's tendency to ship points to late goals last term.
Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: "We're obviously delighted with how it's finished - it's a big three points for us. We were comfortable for large spells of the game, then we give away a free-kick. Credit to them for the free-kick but we fall asleep at the back post.
"Kilmarnock were themselves and when they are organised, they are a tough nut to crack."
HALF-TIME Aberdeen 1-0 Hearts
Stephen Couse
BBC Sport Scotland
It has been a frantic first-half at Pittodrie, played at breakneck speed for the full 45 minutes.
Aggressive play from both sides, with Aberdeen just about edging the game, finding a lot of joy down the right with Jon Gallagher, and Sam Cosgrove leading the line well.
Cosgrove grabbed the first goal after Christophe Berra was unable to find Bobby Zlamal with a header back, and there was never any doubt as the in-form striker slotted it past the keeper at a tight angle.
But Hearts are far from out of this game, with a golden opportunity that literally passed Craig Halkett by as he was unable to meet a threatening free-kick with his head. Joe Lewis was also forced to produce a stunning save from a Berra header, and Uche Ikpeazu has been a handful at times, and a massive physical challenge for the whole Aberdeen back-line.
