One major problem for Liverpool in last two Seasons: Salah is so goal and ball greedy that hogging that ball, with no last pass when another player is clearly on and unmarked to hit a sitter is costing us goals. Finally we can see Mane's frustration. Klopp please sort it out. It's costing us goals and preventing us from killing off games quickly!

At the other end, Nick Pope denies Georginio Wijnaldum with a brave save at the Liverpool midfielder's feet. Not long left now...

Liverpool have continued on from last year and the manager knows who his best team is. He knows how to get the best out of the players. It’s great to see.

Steven Jerjian: Both technically and in terms of game intelligence, this Liverpool squad is the best in my lifetime, and a joy to watch. Take control of games which often slipped away before, put Kiev behind them with win in Madrid, and will push City all the way for PL again
Anon: You'd need 11 Ben Stokes to even up this match. Liverpool superb.

Double change for Liverpool as Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino make way.
Mane is clearly NOT happy about going off, throwing a bit of a strop on his way to the bench. I'm guessing he wanted more goals!
Firmino puts a comforting arm around his team-mate and seems to help calm Mane down.
On come Divock Origi and Xherdan Shaqiri.

Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. That finish was exquisite and it obviously seals the game for Liverpool.
Roberto Firmino
Game, set and match.
A move started and finished by Roberto Firmino. From just inside the Burnley half, he fizzes the ball forward for Mo Salah, who thinks about a shot before cutting back along the edge of the area and then leaving the ball for Firmino to smash an unstoppable drive into the back of the net.

Andy White: Burnley need Ben Stokes to come on as sub to stand a chance of winning.
I doubt he'll be appearing for them Andy, he decided Spurs were his team this week.

Chris Wood sends Jay Rodriguez clear. The Burnley substitute has just Adrian to beat and, for a moment, Fantasy Premier League managers everywhere hold their breath in fear of another goal against for Liverpool, but the linesman's flag comes to the rescue. Rodriguez was offside when Chris Wood made the pass.

I love the way Liverpool are controlling the play on quite a few occasions. The way they’re playing is brilliant.

Michael Kurth: Fabinho is turning into Patrick Viera before our eyes.
Ed O'Toole: TAA playing exceptionally well showing why he is now first choice right-back for England.
