Partick Thistle are going for the kill, here, early in the second half.

Kenny Miller’s had a couple of close calls and his fellow striker Alex Jones just curled a low shot a couple of inches past the post - definitely the hosts best spell of the match.

  11. Souda the differencepublished at 16:01

    Forfar 0-1 Livingston

Livingston haven't had it all their own way at Station Park by any stretch. The opening spell was dominated by a couple of great chances for the home team. Hilson's early shot looked destined for the top corner, but it was tipped over well by Matija Sarkic. From the subsequent corner, Mark Travis beat the goalkeeper with his header but it crashed off the bar.

The breakthrough came after 36 minutes, as Lyndon Souda peeled off his man, rose well, and headed high into the Forfar net.

Livingston lead at the half, but the wind has really been spoiling this one. The Lions had the benefit of the wind in the first half, so Forfar will look to capitalise on it in the second spell.

    Jane Lewis

The Celtic fans are having to be patient as they watch their players create chance after a chance in this league cup tie. Christopher Julien has had a couple of great chances, while Leigh Griffiths, Mikey Johnston and Callum McGregor have also had efforts on goal. The home side are certainly enjoying the majority of possession, and the wise money would be on them breaking down the resilient Pars defence eventually. Will Neil Lennon change things for the second half, or will he stick with those creating chances? Will Dunfermline’s legs hold out...?

HT: Partick Thistle 0-0 Ross County

    Kenny Crawford

Well, Ross County should be winning here despite an awful slow start. Ross Draper, Ross Stewart and Blair Spittal have all had great opportunities as the Staggies look to win their sixth game in seven matches so far this season.

Partick Thistle started really brightly, albeit without anything clear-cut created. Raffa de Vita and Kenny Miller have combined well at times but manager Gary Caldwell will be looking for that little bit more to try and nick a goal.

Well, well. The cat well and truly back among the pigeons here. Great comeback by Morton. The leveller comes after great play by Aidan Nesbitt on the left. His cross is glanced goalwards by McHugh. It looks like Lewis Stevenson will clear it but under pressure from Nicky Cadden he only succeeds in knocking it into the net. Game on!
