There was one mix-up by City but otherwise Shakhtar haven't got near the City goal in the second half. There's been nothing. They've just been happy playing it safe, but then they've got punished by this City side.

    A gubbing.

Diego Simeone has lost it again! What a sight.

What a header this is from Hector Herrera, beating his own team-mate Jose Gimenez to power in a corner. Zonal marking is rubbish.

    PSG 2-0 Real Madrid

Real Madrid haven't had a shot on target. Replacing Cristiano Ronaldo is pretty tough, it turns out.

Stanley Darlinton: As a Real Madrid supporter am so ashamed of this performance from the players today,The goalkeeper can't keep a clean sheet coupled with stupid defenders who forgot how to defend. I can't believe what am watching.

Amrul Choudhury: Real Madrid really needed to sign someone with a selfish streak, Eden Hazard himself said he is not that type of player.

As comfortable a second half on the road as you can get in the Champions League, to be honest.

Composed, professional performance from City - just what the doctor ordered after Norwich. Fernandinho hasn't put a foot wrong at centre back either.

So Liverpool winning the Premier League and Man City winning the Champions League? Aww... everyone will be happy!

It's brilliant to see Benjamin Mendy back. He's such a big miss, a big character in the team and the squad.

To have all the injuries that he's had, this will be great for him. It's a good feeling to be back on the pitch.

Have a word Wojciech Szczesny! What a save this is to keep Juve in the lead.

The former Arsenal man makes a flying save.

Atletico then want a penalty for handball but they are waved away.

City went right through the heart of Shakhtar. Kevin de Bruyne driving through, the weight of the pass, and Gabriel Jesus flicks it past the keeper. Clinical again from Manchester City.

Speaking of Karim Benzema - he's just scored but he was offside. Real Madrid needed that one to stand.

Ash Williams: How can Zidane spend £345m in the summer and make this squad look average v a PSG side missing Neymar, Cavani and Mbappe?

Jedidiah: Zidane trying desperately to get rid of 'unwanted' players was like discarding all the water you've got cos you think it'll rain. Then it doesn't rain! Zizou deserves to be sacked for his poor human management skills.

Jerome G: Nobody ever talks about Benzema. Ronaldo, Bale, Modric et al made him look good for years. The tap-ins have dried up and he's nowhere.

    Gabriel Jesus

Ah there we go, there's the third goal to kill this one off once and for all. Manchester City somehow have a three on one counter attack from the halfway line, Kevin de Bruyne has a bobbling ball and plays in Gabriel Jesus, who scuffs it into the far corner.

Clinical, but Shakhtar were all over the shop.

There's only actually been one shot on target since half time. City could yet be made to pay for that, although it doesn't look likely.
