Joshua Bolaji: At the end of the day, VAR is a system that provides information to the officials. However, fallible humans still have to interpret this data.

Wasteful! Mason Mount with a beauty of a pass, found his range there to free Cesar Azpiluceta down the right. The skipper has time, maybe too much time as with two men over to his left he goes for goal and fires wide.

This half deserves a goal. Mason Mount leads a cavalry charge over halfway but he's crowded out in the end.

I can understand why Cesar Azpilicueta is punching the air because it's a goal-saving tackle. It was superbly timed.

Then Hudson-Odoi is getting so much joy coming into this corner of the box, but Willian just got a bit clever for me. I just think, 'have a go with your left foot'.

Brilliant defending!

Ajax move the ball sweetly from right to left, Quincy Promes is free and looks sure to score this time but Cesar Azpilicueta flies in to make a perfectly-timed block!

Chelsea counter, Callum Hudson-Odoi puts it across goal and Willian needlessly dummies it. Shoot man!
