Prnajaf: This game is far too open for my liking as an LFC fan ...

Bob Moss: I guess neither team wants to defend, and I am ok with that.

    RB Salzburg 0-0 Liverpool

    Should be 1-0 Liverpool.

Mo Salah is presented with the kind of chance he would ordinarily snaffle in his sleep - left side of the box, plenty of room, just the keeper to beat. But he pulls his shot lazily wide.

    RB Salzburg 0-0 Liverpool

Andy Robertson to the rescue. Sloppy Liverpool play in midfield allows RB Salzburg to break, but Hwang Hee-chan's pass to set up Enock Mwepu for a shot is undercooked, allowing Robertson to slide in and clear.

    Napoli 2-0 Genk

Napoli are getting the business done. Arkadiusz Milik has his second of the night midway through the first half.

As expected, it is going to be winner takes all in Salzburg.

    RB Salzburg 0-0 Liverpool

Haaland's first real sight of goal comes at the end of a driving run down the left, that sees him get ahead of Dejan Lovren. The shot is well-struck and low but saved by Alisson.

Mane has been the best player on the pitch for Liverpool so far. He just drops the shoulder and darts away from Kristensen on the left-hand side, opens his body up and if you think of Thierry Henry, he tries to find the far corner. Good save from Stankovic and then it's a wasted opportunity from Naby Keita.

Once again no consideration for colour blindness. Surely I'm not the only one struggling to distinguish between the two strips (except on close ups).

Haaland doesn't score many from range. He is a goal area predator. He is on the prowl again, sensing he might get a sniff as Hwang Hee-chan turns and crosses on the edge of the box. Alisson is alive to the danger, though, and dives on the ball.

Jurgen Klopp's applauds on the touchline as Liverpool carve out another attempt, which sees Sadio Mane's curling shot pushed away by Cican Stankovic.

    Napoli 1-0 Genk

I've just seen the Napoli goal against Genk. I feel so sorry for Maarten Vandevoordt in Genk's net because he's had a nightmare. Vandevoordt, just 17 years of age and tonight becoming the youngest keeper in Champions League history, receives a back pass but is immediately set upon by two Napoli players before being dispossessed by Milik, who scores.

Al Mamun Russell: This Salzburg side reminding me of last season's Ajax.

For a moment, Dejan Lovren hesitates on the edge of his own box with the home attack in the hunt. A shout and some quick action sees the ball punted out of play and away from danger.

If this game ends 0-0 I am selling up and moving to Austria. It won't, it just won't.

Liverpool enjoy a period of possession, taking the sting out the game a tad after what was a frantic opening.

They almost get in down the left but Maximilian Wober comes across to hack away Andy Robertson's cross.

    Liverpool momentarily clinging on.

Alisson comes to the rescue to save from Takumi Minamino after a neat bit of play from the home side in the box. There's a follow-up effort but again the Brazilian is there to block.
